Morocco 10 - Day Luxury Private Tour

We are now home back in Australia and able to reflect on our holiday with Morocco Luxury Tours. Of course we loved the contrasting culture, the welcoming people, the intriguing history, the interesting culinary spices and the breath-taking scenery however what made this holiday so special was the organisational expertise of Mohamed. We do not normally use the services of tour operators when we travel preferring to book direct locally and self-guide/drive. We decided that Morocco may be a bit different so sought out Morocco Luxury Tours a.k.a. Morocco Top Trips - what a good decision that was! From my first contact by email your response was quick, concise and helpful. During the months of our booking process including many changes and adjustments nothing was ever a problem whether it was a particular accommodation that we preferred, any activity in which we wanted to partake, going to Erg Chigaga instead of Erg Chebbi, eating at a particular restaurant, changing the number of our participants and even reversing the entire itinerary - everything we wanted was done with the minimum of fuss or you would suggest something better. At first I thought that your 100% 5 star reviews were a bit sceptical but now I understand why - your attention to detail is excellent. Let me start by complementing our driver, the friendly and endearing young man who looked after us during our 17 day journey - a very safe and punctual driver - as a professional driver myself I never felt insecure in his hands – I am sure he will have a great future. Our personal guides in Essaouira, Marrakech, Imlil, Erg Chigaga, Dades Valley, Fes and Chefchaouen - all of them were excellent at imparting their knowledge of the local area and catering to our special requests. I would like to make a special acknowledgement to our guide in the Dades Valley, he was a delightful young man who took extra care looking after us and treated us to lunch prepared by his mother and sister - a real insight into village life. The accommodation without exception was superb. The thrill of following our trolley man through a myriad of alleyways in the ancient Medinas to a non-descript wooden door which opened to an oasis of beauty and luxury. A welcoming mint tea in the courtyard poured from a height and the freshly squeezed orange juice served every morning with our savoury breakfast on the rooftop terrace. The 2 hour 4X4 drive to our luxury desert camp in Erg Chigaga was exhilarating and we felt we were really getting away from the maddening crowd, in fact we were the only people there. Another highlight for me personally was actually staying in the Ksar of Ait Benhaddou rather than just being a day visitor to the site. We sat atop the ancient structure enjoying a drink and snack at sunset and then rose the next morning to watch from the adjacent hill as the sunrise transformed the red hues of the Kasbah - a truly unique experience. Our specially prepared and personal lunch at Scorpion House overlooking the town of Moulay Idriss was another wonderful experience. In summary, everything was perfect. Excellent service from end to end. Mohamed was extremely helpful with bookings and on ground logistics. Traveling with small kids is not recommended as the drives can be quite long with multiple stops. Ideal for couples. Our chauffeur, Mohammed, was extremely helpful and went out of his way, to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to Morocco Top Tour for the exceptional service and unforgettable experience provided during our trip to Morocco from 13/12/2025 to 22/12/2025. Our journey took us through Casablanca, Chefchaouen, Fes, the Merzouga Desert, Dades Valley, Marrakesh, and back to Casablanca. Every part of the itinerary was thoughtfully arranged, allowing our group to fully enjoy the beauty, culture, and uniqueness of Morocco. Although we unfortunately had to miss Ifrane and Azrou due to heavy snowfall, the overall experience remained smooth and enjoyable thanks to the excellent coordination by the team. Special thanks to Mohammed, the owner, for organizing such a wonderful tour, even while he was overseas. We had an amazing experience with Morocco Top Trip! Even before the trip began, the owner Mohammed was incredibly responsive and considerate — always quick to reply to our messages and thoughtful in planning everything to suit our needs. Our driver, Mohammed, was outstanding from the very first moment. He welcomed us warmly upon arrival with delicious local snacks. He also helped us arrange SIM cards, making sure we stayed connected without any hassle right from the airport/step down. Throughout the journey, he remained punctual, polite, and very knowledgeable about the places we visited. Despite the long drives, he made sure we were comfortable, offered excellent local recommendations, and shared fascinating insights about Moroccan culture and history. He timed everything perfectly so we never missed those stunning sunsets — arriving right on time for the most beautiful ones. The local guides in the different cities were also wonderful — so friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing their heritage. They brought each place to life in such an engaging way. Another fantastic highlight was accommodating our last-minute request to try ATV riding in the desert — they made it happen effortlessly, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of the trip! The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with reliable air conditioning, which made the long rides even more enjoyable. A special highlight was our birthday celebration — we mentioned it a bit late, but Mohammed kindly coordinated a beautiful cake for us, which was such a thoughtful and wonderful surprise that made the day unforgettable. Overall, everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. From the moment I in touch with Mohamed (the owner), the experience has been excellent. The info about the tour and what to expect and how he respond to my questions has been awesome. When we landed in Marrakesh, our driver Ali already there waiting and has been great throughout our journey across Morocco. Always ensure the comfort and good recommendation for authentic Morocco culture, foods. The highlight is we have the honor to try his wife kukus ( local dish) at Chefchaouen. In addition, all the guides that Mohamed plan for us are world class. The stories related to monument and places are well explained. This includes when we were in Andalusia and Lisbon. He is also our tour planner for those area.

Before we arrived in Casablanca we got the phone number ( Whatsapp Number) from Mohammed and our driver who picked us up at Casablanca airport. After visiting the sights of Casablanca we stayed the first night there. On the next day we had a long day via Rabat to Chefchaoun. Chefchaoun is called the blue city as most houses are painted blue. On the next day we had a local tour in this beautiful city. If you like cats, there are many. Then we went via Volubilis and Meknes to Fes. Fes has a very nice old city and our guide Fatima showed us a lot. After 2 nights in Fes we went via Ifrane (covered in snow) to the desert in Merzouga. We spent a night in a beautiful riad and on the next day we drove into the sand dunes. After visiting a Berber house we went for a camel ride in the desert. The ride was 1.5 hours and we saw the sunset in the desert. We spent the night in a tent camp and on the next day we drove to Marrakech. There we had 3 nights to see the sights of the city and the mountain village of Imlil. It was one of the most picturesque countries I have ever seen. Together with the perfect organization, the nice driver, van and great riads the holiday was 5 star
