Choose between two experiences: the Transfer + Basilica option, which includes round-trip transportation and admission to the Basilica to explore at your own pace, or the Full Experience, which includes a scenic rack railway ride and a guided visit to the Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey. Admire the abbey’s impressive Gothic and Renaissance architecture and discover its importance in Catalonia’s rich history and culture.

Itinerary
You will leave Barcelona early in the morning to avoid crowds when accessing Montserrat. The first part of the journey will be by bus. The bus trip will last 1 hour.
Get off of the bus and enjoy a 15-minute journey on the Montserrat rack railway if you have chosen the full tour option. This trip will offer you the mountain’s unique skyline and spectacular views. The train has panoramic windows that allow you to admire the beauty of the landscape around Monistrol to Montserrat.
Discover this awesome place located at an incredible mountain range, famous for its scenic views, hiking trails, and monastery.
Visit the Basilica of Montserrat, one of Catalonia's most important religious landmarks and home to the revered Black Madonna. If the full experience is selected, the visit to the Basilica will be accompanied by a professional guide, who will share its history, architecture, and significance. If the Transfer + Basilica option is selected, you will enjoy admission to the Basilica and explore it independently at your own pace.
If the full tour option is selected, the guide will explain the history and highlights of the monastery. You will then have free time to explore the Abbey and its surroundings at your own pace.
If you choose the full experience option, you will enjoy the flavors of the mountains with a tasting of Montserrat liquors. Afterward, we will head back to Barcelona center.

We had a wonderful time at Montserrat with our friendly and energetic guide, Blanca. She shared many interesting informations about the region during the journey. A special mention goes to our driver, Leandro, for driving us safely along the winding roads!

Excellent driver Miguel, and excellent guide Enrique. Although there was not much time in Andorra (1 hour and 1/2) and we did not get to see the old part, all the stops on the tour were definitely worth it. Moreover, the journey to get there is a pleasure in itself.

It was a great experience we loved everything about the tour except the late people getting back to the bus. Enrique and Manuel did great
This tour is a deception. They offer 8 hours of tour and schedule you at the Cervantes station at 8 am. The guide arrived at 8:20 am, and we left at 8:30 am, and they left me again at the station near Barceloneta at 1:30 pm. What happened to the missing time?? I didn't want to ask anything to avoid hearing ridiculous excuses. Not recommendable at all!!!

Our tour guide Blanca was very kind and knowledgeable. She was where all the messages said she would be and that was great. The area we went to was so beautiful and calm. Thank you. A little longer of a tour would be great. So you could do your prayers and reflection and have time for view hike or a chunk of time in the museum. Thanks again
This was a very interesting and informative trip. Blanca, our tour guide, shared a lot of information regarding Montserrat and the history of the area. We did wish that the duration of the tour was longer as we didn't have time to visit the art museum. Highly recommend.
A wonderful experience. Which was worth every minute. Beautiful places with stunning landscapes. Our guide Enrique was fantastic, with excellent recommendations and our driver Sebastian was super professional. I highly recommend. Note 1000!!!
I have to say, Enrique is very good at introducing everything. Not only the sightseeing, city, building, but also food. Sebastian drives safely, let us feel leisure to watch the view outside the bus.
