Montmartre Food Tour: 15 Tastings, Most Complete Paris Experience

Description
After guiding 4,000+ guests with bigger companies, I created the only food tour you'll need in Paris. I spent years in restaurants, including two of the world's top 10, and I built this with one goal: the most complete and authentic food experience in Paris, led by a food and beverage professional, guiding you through 15 tastings of France, more than any other food tour in the city. Over 3 hours, explore the charming streets of Montmartre, discover the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur, walk through its emblematic grocery street, and taste the finest French food: red wine, white wine, cognac, cheeses, charcuterie, baguette, oysters, chocolate, pastries, macarons, and the finale: a full tasting menu at a cozy local restaurant, wine, cheeses and french classics. A real taste of French gastronomy the way locals enjoy it. All of that paired with good people and good stories. Max 10 guests, one departure per day at 1.30pm, it'll be your lunch and even dinner! Dietary needs accommodated. Come hungry!

Itinerary
During the tour, you'll enjoy a stunning view of the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur from below, rising majestically over Montmartre, without climbing the hill.
One of Montmartre most iconic streets. Where you can have a true sight of what Montmartre is. A beautiful mix of locals, tourists, amazing food establishments and beautiful shops, brasseries, grocery shops...
The neighborhood where all the tour will happen. We will be walking down the streets of this beautiful parisian village that Montmartre tries to remain, marked with history and art. An amazing place to walk around and just enjoy Paris.
You'll also walk past the Moulin Blute-Fin, one of the last remaining windmills of Montmartre, a quiet reminder of the village life that once defined this iconic neighborhood.

This was a fabulous food tour! Variety, amount of information, nice pace, great dinner ending! Guide is super knowledgeable.
I had high hopes for this tour when I saw all the different foods, but unfortunately it was not much of a “walking tour.” After a few stops we were taken into a restaurant and served multiple different courses of food. I can get that in a restaurant. We were hoping to experience Montmarte while eating at several different spots. Instead most of the “tour” takes place in 1 location. The food was good, and our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the food and wines. But I wished we had walked and experienced Montmarte more.
Thank you so much for your detailed feedback, and I’m really glad you enjoyed the food and the wine. I understand your disappointment with the format of the tour. August is a particular time in Montmartre, with many shopkeepers and artisans away on vacation, which led us to build part of the route around a longer indoor stop with a multi-course seated meal. That said, it’s on us for not better balancing the walking and neighborhood exploration that the name “walking tour” implies. Your feedback is valuable and I’m taking it into account to improve the experience going forward. I hope you still had a good time overall! Safe travels!
The tour was very informative, our guide was super nice and accommodating, and the tasted food and drinks were select and excellent. All in all, a wonderful experience that I can only recommend.
We did the Food Tour with Imrane in August 2026. Best food tour I have ever done. Imrane was knowledgeable and engaging, not only providing information on what we were tasting and background on the selected food purveyors, but also adding the odd tidbit about the Montmartre area and pointing out landmarks as we went along. The tour itself is in 2 phases. The 1st part involves some select tastings as well as collecting up items that we would taste during the sit down part of the tour. The 2nd part culminates in a sitdown tasting of cheeses, terrine, french oignon soup, beef boirguignon and crème brûlée, all accompanied by wine. Finished off with cognac. Highly recommended!
Gave some general history of the area while we walked and treated. His knowledge of the local food, preparations, where to obtain etc were highlighted. It was a great mix of information and tasting. Good pace throughout.
Amazing food tour. Guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the local food and took great care to ensure everyone was taken care of. The amount of food was extensive in both variety and volume. A true taste of all that Paris has to offer. Highly highly recommend.
A fantastic food tour!! Imrane was amazing. Wonderful food tastings with a variety of items including different cheeses, fresh baked bread, fresh stop for oysters on the half shell, macaroons/ chocolate and a full lunch with wine. He is so knowledgeable about food and shares his love for food with you on this tour. So much better than the “big company” tours. Personalized and thoughtful. We loved all the food. A must do in Montmarte.
This tour was excellent. You could really tell the guide has a passion for food, history and Parisian culture. It was a very unique and creative tour as you picked up many meats, cheeses and baguettes along the way to the final destination.
Imrane was a great guide and very knowledgeable about the area and food! We loved sampling different things and learning more about the area. We tried chocolates, macarons, cheese, breads, pastries, wines, charcuterie, French onion soup, oysters and beef bourguignon.
Walk was not as bad as I expected for 3 hours. You don’t have to climb the steps of the Basilica. Imrane graciously gives you cold water instead of the usual room temp water if you want. The food sampling, wine and history were ok. Abass , the golden retriever at last restaurant was the best part of the tour.
Hi! Thank you for taking the Time to leave a review, it’s always appreciated! I’m sad Abbesses and the Food were not worth 5 star, if you have anything you think would make the tour better in your opinion, I’m always open for any advice or suggestions. Have a great day !
