The cable car’s route starts at Parc de Montjuïc, where the cable car goes directly to Castell de Montjuïc without making any stops. On the return route, the Montjuïc Cable Car stops at Mirador de l’Alcalde. This stop is optional, but highly recommended to relax in the Miramar Costa i Llobera, Cinto Verdaguer and Joan Brossa gardens, with the best views over Barcelona. The return route ends in Parc de Montjuïc. However, if you like walking, you can get off at the Mirador stop and continue walking to Parc de Montjuïc.

Great view

As part of the tui 2 day pass of Barcelona a big plus was tickets for the monjuic cable cars as my mum and dad had been previously but never got chance to ride so on the family holiday and my first time in the city a nice activity to do together that takes you up the mountain to the castle A great view and near poble espanol which we’d been prior while riding the bus turistic ( a great way to get around ) on the red route

Don’t pre-book, save your money

Don’t waste your money going through Viator, cost wide have been $17, deceptive advertising the audio isn’t explained AT ALL before you get in the cable car, ABs make sure you understand that the tour DOES NOT INCLUDE the castle tour which the advertising reflects pictures of. Just go there - you still need To stand in the long lines to convert your voucher which gets buried in emails to tickets for the cable car and the also s ticket for the Audio.

Not recommended - Rip off by Viator

Not recommended. Viator overcharged me for this tour. They sold me a $17 ticket for over $41 as part of a group of four. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. The ticket is only for the cable car, not entry to the Casa (fort), which requires an additional ticket upon arrival. The audio tour is pointless for a five-minute cable car ride—another waste of money.

Bad tour

Could not find the audio for this tour. Tried to contact tour operator without any resolution. They said they email the directions to get the audio part but I never received any instructions. Make sure you get those instructions before you pay. They are more concerned with payment. If you do not hear anything it is not that important.

Do not buy this

This experience requires you to download an app and makes it very difficult if you buy multiple tickets. Each person has to download the app and then you have to call customer service to get the ticket sent to the individual. It was very clunky. All that for an audio recording that is not very informative. We all recommend that you just purchase the ticket at the entry for half the price of this "experience."

A beautiful ride

We enjoyed the panoramic of beautiful Barcelona. My only complaint was the trouble they had processing our barcode which was for 4 people.

Wait to buy tickets

I would rate this 0 if I could. Wait to buy tickets at the location. I paid more than double buying through this app. I still needed to wait in line with everyone buying tickets to show the voucher that I purchased. Nice view but not worth the 10 minute ride up. I should have read the reviews before purchase.

Great views

Very easy to book tickets. Minimal queues. Felt safe. Great views across all of Barcelona from the top. Recommend stopping on the way back at the park- we had our picnic here and the kids had a great time.
