Mini Baja Chase Dune Buggy Adventure in Las Vegas

My son and I did the dune buggy chase in Vegas. It was so much fun!!! Degan was our guide and dude was totally cool. Our cart was the only survivor of the 1 hour chase. There was one other couple with us and their steering broke....another buggy was immediately brought out for them with no delays. Degan's buggy lost a wheel at the end of the ride.. ..LOL. it was comical. The terrain is the real deal so you can imagine the buggies get used hard but they keep them in great running condition. It was alot of fun and we will definitely do it again!!! Mike picked us up from our hotel on time and even called me earlier that morning to confirm our pick up time. He was super cool and had us all laughing to and from the hotel. Great experience for my son and I!!!! Definitely give these guys 5 stars all the way around!!!!! Jeff M. Alexandria Va

Best thing we did in Vegas! We want to go back to do a night time adventure. All of the staff were excellent! Highly recommend doing at least 1 hour mini Baja chase. You won’t regret it!

The actual dunenbuggy experiences was good but the transfer from hotel was TERRIFYING!!!! Heading back to the hotel we were transferred in a very decrepit van. It felt off from the beginning and as we were going down the highway in the fast lane a tire blew! It was extremely scary as we were stuck on the meridian. Mike the driver did do a good job at controlling the van and got it to stop without losing control. We then waited for 45 minutes for another van to come and assist with 'change of tire"...for some reason they did not pick us up in that van and at this point we were standing on the side of the meridian in 5 lanes of traffic!! it was extremely dangerous and very scary for our group. I took it upon myself to call the police to get assistance to help with traffic control so that we didn't get HIT! Once the tire was fixed they loaded us back in the SAME VAN! At this point Mike the driver proceeds to tell us that he has been complaining to the company that the van needed new tires and he KNEW that this was going to happen. TERRIBLE So they put us and their employees at risk. I have tried numerous times to contact the company and they are NOT answering my calls. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND and defiantly would not get picked up by this company. Extremely irresponsible and unprofessional and DANGEROUS DO NOT USE

Love it. Mike our van driver was the greatest. Very helpful and very entertaining. Tony our tour guide on the ride was very in tune to our families needs. Going fast when we wanted to, and slowing down when my 6 year old got nervous. All together the whole experience was great. Thanks everyone for making our Las Vegas experience a memorable one for our Louisiana family.

My wife, our friend, and I were in Vegas ealier this month and we did the 1 hour Baja Chase with dune buggies. It was easily the most fun thing we did while we were in town. The guide, Jocelyn, was a good driver and knew the area well. When they say you can go fast they actually mean it. We were going full throttle through the dunes and desert. It was amazing! That said, there were a handful of negatives. The buggies themselves get used hard driving in that harsh terrain so there might be some technical issues. The guides are great about getting them working out though. You should absolutely wear gloves and a buff. There were some small issues with transport to and from the office and desert area and our hotel. It wasn't a big deal, but didn't seem super professional. Also, make sure to get a confirmation email when you book directly on their website. On the other hand, I enjoyed the more laidback atmosphere and culture. It felt like they really cared about the driving experience and put more of their energy into delivering that experience than other areas of the business. Overall, it's an expensive excursion. But, if you like exciting driving and don't mind a few hiccups and getting dirty, I would absolutely recommend giving this a try.

This experience from beginning to end was absolutely amazing! My 10-year-old nephew and I did it together and we had the best time. From the pick up to the drop off and everything in between. Our Guide, Charley, went above and beyond to make sure my nephew and I had the best experience. I cannot say enough positives about this tour.

We had an amazing experience with SunBuggy! Larry picked us up on the shuttle at the valet area in front of our hotel. He also fitted us for helmets and was so nice. My family with two teens rented dune buggies and rode two per buggy. Karma was our guide and she was awesome! She went over safety measures, explained the details of how the excursion would go, was considerate of me not wanting to speed race, and knew the quirks and qualities of each buggy well. She’s been driving on these dunes since she was a teen, which made us trust her even more. It was such a thrill and one of the most fun experiences we have had!

Terms Patricia Alessi 3 reviews 5 days ago New On January 5, I was contacted by Scott Bradford, asking for our (my family's and my) experience with our Mini-Baja X (60 min) Sun Buggy experience, on Dec 29, 2025. ( reservation # 236159 ) When my daughter booked the activity, she was given an 8 am reservation. We arrived at 7:45 am. Even though all our paperwork had been signed ahead of time, we assumed we’d need to be there earlier for set-up; helmets and instructions. We sat in the waiting room until 10 am while other groups arrived intermittently, mostly by shuttle, up until 10 am. The only staff member who spoke to us was the one who fitted us for our helmets. Obviously, we were frustrated with the long wait and didn’t understand why “our” reservation was delayed to accommodate all the later reservations. Why were we not shuttled to the trails for our early reserved time? One couple, arrived at 10 am and conveniently for them, they were added to our group shuttle and ride. During our long wait, not one staff member made an effort to talk to us nor apologize for the inconvenience. Once we were on the trail, my husband's buggy broke down and we sat there for another 25 minutes while a replacement buggy arrived. We do understand that sometimes these things do happen, but, our guide did not hide the fact that he was "put out” by the situation. When I communicated this to Scott, rather than acknowledging the frustrations of our experience, he said it was normal for an 8 am reservation to start "just after 9 am". Furthermore, he made excuses for his staff. He expressed that his staff wanted to be with their families during the holiday season and that the company had to "make due" with the staff at hand. Then he thanked me for my perspective and said he "really appreciated my detailed feedback". Seriously? So much for customer satisfaction. No apologies, no blame on the part of the company for the long delay, nor of the staff's behavior while we sat there for 2:15 hours. And even though the experience with the guide was so-so, I left him a $25 tip, because it was the right thing to do. I wrote back to Scott a second time, expressing my frustration over his lack of concern for our experience. He did not write back. I’m very disappointed that our experience was ignored. A reputable company would have compensated in some way. Scott did not respond to my second email, I called 702-644-2855 twice. On the first call I spoke one staff member, explaining the situation and hoping to reach a higher-up manager of Sun Buggy. I never heard back. The second time I called, the staff member did follow through, and notified Max- Billng Manager, who did get back to me. I asked for him to consider a fair refund for our experience. Once again, no response. It is clear that neither Communication nor Customer Satisfaction are priorities with Sun Buggy. I am extremely disgruntled after spending $1200, and reaching out with calls and emails, that I am being ignored. I was hoping for some resolution.
