We had a great food tour with Minh in the old quarter in Hanoi. The food was wonderful and she took us to seven different places. She was very knowledgeable and friendly and was a great host. We were grateful for our time with her and for all of the great food.

Minh’s food tour was one of the highlights of my time in Hanoi. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s food scene and added a wonderful personal touch by sharing stories from her own experiences growing up and eating at some of the spots we visited. Her selections were delicious, varied, and she was attentive in accommodating the dietary restrictions within our group. I highly recommend joining her tour. You’ll leave with a full stomach, an appreciation for Hanoi’s culinary culture, and a memorable connection to the city.

Our guide Minh treated us to a number of unique and tasty foods such as crab noodle soup, stir fried noodles with eel, assorted snacks (shrimp pancakes, pillow pancakes and pho rolls), sticky rice with mung bean and dried shallot (accompanied by either pork belly or chicken w/ mushroom), beef noodle salad and ending with the local cafe trung (egg coffee). Her extensive knowledge not only of the highest quality food vendors in the old quarter but also their history and connection with the overall local culture, enhanced the experience. Finally, Minh provided additional suggestions for dishes that we did not get to on the tour as well as area attractions, and these proved to be most valuable.

Minh is such a wonderful, genuine tour guide! She guided our group through seven different restaurants to try a variety of traditional Vietnamese street food. Every dish was so delicious and Minh knows the history and origins of each one. Minh also has such great relationships with each of the restaurant owners and workers. Additionally, she tailors the tour to the group’s preferences, any dietary restrictions, and how we’re feeling/responding to the food. She never does the same exact tour for every group, listening to our preferences and listening to our feedback throughout the night. She’ll take you to restaurants that might be more difficult to navigate as a tourist. She was so thoughtful throughout the entire tour and made sure everyone was included as she shared the stories of the food! I would absolutely recommend anyone who is in Vietnam / Hanoi for the first time!

We had an amazing street food tour with Minh in Hanoi’s Old Quarter! She took us to local spots loved by both her and the community, and thoughtfully adjusted our stops based on our allergies and preferences. In just 3 hours we got to sample over 10 different dishes—so much food, but every bite was worth it. Minh’s knowledge of Vietnamese food and culture made the experience even more special, and we were lucky to have her all to ourselves. She’s a true foodie, and it shows. Highly recommended!

We met with Minh and instantly felt her warmth and friendly nature. She made me feel at ease right away and made note of my allergies. Every place Minh took us to, was spectacular. Speedy service and delicious food a plenty. Minh was able to tell us about Vietnamese culture and their sense of community. We highly recommend this tour, just make sure you have a hearty appetite and be sure to leave room for dessert, you won’t be disappointed!

It was our first day in Hanoi, and we had a great food experience thanks to Minh. She was a really nice food guide, and she was excellent at her job. She really knew wich places to visit to give us a varied dinner course. Also, she takes into account if you have any preferences. We highly recommend to start your visit in Hanoi with this tour.
