Mindo Cloud Forest Guided Private Tour with Three Fees included

We had the great fortune of Adriana for our tour and can’t imagine a better experience. She was on time for our pickup and was an excellent driver the entire time with her. She shared a wealth of knowledge about Quito, about Ecuador, food, culture, environment, etc.. She was a great communicator that always checked to make sure we were doing ok or if we needed anything. Our first stop was for a walk on a scenic trail leading to a waterfall. We learned quit a bit about various plants and trees, as well as some of their uses. The second stop was the highlight of the day. We spent time at the Las Cotingas Bird Reserve where we were able to view toucans, tanagers and a variety of hummingbirds. We were able to feed hummingbirds and allow them to land on our hands and fingers. It was an experience we won’t forget. A third stop had us at.a butterfly farm where we were able to see a variety of butterflies progressing through various stages of metamorphosis. Afterward we enjoyed a fabulous local lunch, followed by a sampling of wines and local chocolates. On the drive back to our hotel we stopped at the Mitad del Mundo for a few pics at the equator. We had an awesome experience and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour and Adriana as your guide!

The best tour I loved this tour! Ines was knowledgeable and so helpful throughout the day. I did the longer hike and the waterfall was totally worth it! I had a good amount of time at each place, and having the hummingbirds eat out of our hands was so cool.

The hummingbird garden was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. It was spectactular to see so many different kinds of beautiful hummingbirds from so close. I would really recommend this place to anyone who visits Mindo on their trip through Ecuador!

This tour included a unique experience that we really enjoyed. Getting to feed the humming birds from our hands with so many varieties was awesome. We also got to see a toucan and some agouties. At the beginning of the tour we decided to do a hike to a waterfall instead of another option to see some plants and birds. We ended the tour with chocolate &wine tasting. Andres was very knowledgeable!

I had an absolutely wonderful tour and would highly recommend this experience. Inez was a wonderful guide who was friendly and helpful making it an extra enjoyable experience. The scenery was gorgeous and every stop was unlike any other. If you're looking for a day trip from Quito you should definitely consider this one.

When one of my daughters became ill in the jungle, everything was immediately rearranged and a doctor was waiting for us at our next accommodation. Their quick response and personal care made us feel completely safe. Andrés and Mateo were much more than guides and drivers; they felt like trusted travel companions. We had a fabulous day and our guide, Andres, was so knowledgeable. We saw a ton of hummingbirds and even several toucans. Highly recommend it. He taught us a lot about the eco culture in Ecuador
