Sandra was very knowledgeable guide and very flexible with her time as well as a good communicator. During the very busy time of El Dia de Muerte she suggested we bike from our hotel to the historic area because of the crazy traffic and it was a great and fun solution.
We’re thrilled to hear you had such a great time with Sandra. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and hope to welcome you on another City Unscripted adventure soon!
My first time in Mexico City. The day before, I was able to visit the National Museum of History in Chapultepec Park which in of itself is amazing. The museum uses beautiful murals and artwork to tell the history of Mexico. I was able to apply what I learned to the tour. This tour ended being the last thing on my trip and I truly enjoyed it. Mexicans have a funny bone which I was able to point out and both the guide Adriana and I were able to laugh. Lots of history, lots of fun. Bring a water bottle, hat or parasol, and sunscreen, the sun is no joke. I started my tour at 0800 (3hrs). I chose the private tour b/c I wanted to go at my pace 🤗
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We're glad that you enjoyed both the museum and the tour, and that Adriana could share some laughs with you along the way. Great tip about the sun, it's definitely strong out there! We hope to welcome you back to Mexico City someday!
Adriana created a custom 6-hour tour that totally suited us! We only wish we were staying longer to do another one. She took us to neighborhoods, museums, and restaurants that were amazing, and truly delighted us. Well worth it!
I'm delighted to hear that Adriana tailored the tour to your preferences and that you enjoyed exploring the neighborhoods, museums, and restaurants she recommended. Can't wait to welcome you back for another adventure!
Carmona Tours - Daniel Carmona at robertokrmona@hotmail.com was great .. patient, excellent english and knowledge of Mexico City. He knew the places, had a good clean car and advice about the places not crowded by tourists. Highly recommended guide and driver if you only want a chauffeur to drive around with.
We had Roberto design a full day for us in CDMX. We went through a variety of beautiful neighborhoods, saw beautiful buildings, parks and churches and even the University. We were incredibly spoiled, as Roberto is an archaeologist! I would definitely recommend this guide to anyone.
Hi 936rac Great to hear that you had a good time with Roberto in Mexico City! It sounds like you saw a lot and this is exactly what we want: for you to see the places you want with someone who knows the city by heart. Hopefully you’ll get in touch in the future so we can offer you another pleasant experience with one of our hosts. Maybe in another one of our 60+ destinations? Happy travels! Best regards, Liezel
Had the pleasure of spending a truly wonderful day in Mexico City with Isaac. Grateful for the experience with him on so many levels. He was kind, attentive, extremely knowledgeable about the city, its many neighborhoods and its rich history. If you’re a lover of the arts, Isaac knows the local art scene exceptionally well. He brought me to a range of neighborhoods from the well known to the up and coming. We took the bus everywhere, walked into secret alleyways that revealed incredible food vendors, boutique galleries and shops that were off the beaten path. This is a man who speaks five languages, will share his knowledge of world religions, art, architecture and history. What a gift to have had this time with him. Thank you Isaac.
Our tour guide Roberto was very knowledgeable and informative when he took around the sights in downtown Mexico. He helped us take in a large and (for us) unknown city. I can’t recommend Roberto enough!
Roberto was great, really good company and very knowledgeable. We really only had one day in the city and Roberto ensured that we saw as much as was possible building the tour around the attractions that were important to us. Would highly recommend.
