The tour was fanatic. Ben, the tour guide, was terrific. He was a wealth of knowledge, in a very interactive and entertaining way. Sensational PR skills. Kept us all engrossed for the entire tour.

We had a fantastic tour of the different sporting arenas of Melbourne! While we wouldn't consider ourselves big sporting fans, we really enjoyed learning more about the history and significance of cricket, AFL, tennis and NRL, and how the different sporting venues and codes come together in Melbourne with Ben. We started with the MCG tour which was really informative as we not only had an informative, current MCG member guide us, but also Ben who used to work there with additional stories to sharen. We then continued with a walking tour to learn more about AAMI Park, Rod Laver Arena and the surrounding tennis courts. Ben was incredibly knowledgeable, informative and friendly, making it easy to ask questions and have a relaxed conversation along the way. He clearly knew his stuff, but shared his knowledge in a way that was engaging and enjoyable. It was fascinating to learn more about the different sports, their history and the important role they play in Melbourne's sporting culture. We finished with a lovely walk home along the Yarra River, which was the perfect way to finish our tour.
This was a fantastic tour showing all of the Melbourne Park sporting venues and their history. Ben our guide was such a sporting buff and had loads of stories and knowledge to share. Definitely a worthwhile tour
We had a fantastic experience on our tour of Melbourne Park and the MCG, We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this tour to others. Thank you, Ben, for making our visit memorable!
This tour was truly wonderful, the owner and the guide Michael were both so friendly and easy to work with. The tour itself was very informative and everything we hoped it would be. My 17 year old son loved every minute of it especially the AFL game at the end.
This was more that an MCG tour the guide gave a very excellent insight into the sports precinct and origins in a very easy to absorb understanding. Born breed Australian and still learnt a thing or two. Brilliant
Thanks for the kind review and feedback. I feel like we always get good reviews from Aussies and even Melburnians as we bring a different view and reflection to this amazing city precinct and national asset.
Enjoyed the tour. However, we are both in late 60s and felt very tired at the end of the tour. You may design a separate tour for very seniors.
Thanks for the feedback. We have been in talks with Probus and U3A in developing a shorter tour. We do recommend taking a quick tea break at the MCG Cafe before embarking on the stadium tour as part of this combo.
This was a fun and exciting day learning about Melbourne's world famous sporting precinct exploring 150 years of sport history ranging from the Olympics, cricket, Australian football, rugby, soccer and tennis. It was cool to see the MCG and play tennis on a real court. Lots of walking, but I still enjoyed it and had a nice day out.
All expectations met & more! Cathy was a great guide and very generous with her personal experience working in the sport precinct & photography skills. Would definitely recommend this tour 👌
Great tour. Well paced. Katherine knew who stuff! MCG was stunning and tour guide Chris, was wonderful. Highly recommend. I had initially tried to book a tour of MCG through its website, but could not find an opening. This sports tour was of the Australian Open grounds plus MCG. Perfect combination.
