Very enjoyable walk around Melbourne learning some of the history. Laura, our guide, was very good, knowledgable, interesting and fun. Would very much recommend.
Wonderful overview of the city in a few hours, would highly recommend doing at the beginning of a trip to Melbourne as there are many locations you visit on the tour which are great to go back to and explore properly. The guide Charlotte was really knowledgeable and friendly and provided interesting commentary throughout the trip.
This is the second time I’ve done this tour. My wife joined me this time. It’s a great way to get to know Melbourne!! Rob, our guide was informative and entertaining and very patient other the group. I’d recommend to any one when you first get to Melbourne! This was the free walking tour.
A terrific experience. Rob was our guide and he was not only very informative and helpful and funny to boot! We spent about 3 hours walking with just a short bathroom break. It was nice to hear about the highlights of the city. I decided to circle back to the Melbourne Museum after the tour concluded.
A wonderful tour. Three hours without stopping seeing interesting things and learning a lot (especially about the history of Australia, the slaves, the Aborigines......the evolution up to the present day. Tom is a 10!!!!!!
Tour guide left me during mid break, I went to washroom and due to long queue I got 2 mins late. By the time he left without even calling me. So I was not able to finish the trip.
It was amazing! Tom Malone explained eberything so good and knows a lot about the history - I was very impressed and had a wonderful day. Highly recommended 🥳
Kieran was fantastic. He spoke clearly and was very knowledgeable. He was witty and the three hour tour was a great load of fun. We recommend this tour 100%.
I did both tours, the heritage/history tour in the morning and then the cultural tour in the afternoon. The tour guide, Tom was very knowledgeable and entertaining. I learnt a lot of new things and thoroughly enjoyed myself. This was the first time I had ever joined a free walking tour and I will definitely be doing it again.
Charlotte was our guide for the roughly 1.5-hour tip-based walking tour (“pay what you want”), and it was a fantastic experience. I joined with a friend visiting from abroad, hoping to show them a side of Melbourne that’s a bit off the beaten path, and this tour delivered exactly that. Even as a local, I came away with a deeper appreciation for Melbourne’s architecture, art scene and history, thanks to Charlotte’s engaging storytelling and insightful commentary. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to better understand the city’s culture and heritage. One area for improvement would be incorporating more on contemporary Indigenous culture in Melbourne, as I felt this was a bit absent.
