At around 7:30AM to 8:00AM, we begin our day with pickup from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City (or a designated meeting point), then travel through lush countryside and rice fields to the heart of the Mekong Delta.
Upon arriving in My Tho, we make a visit to the beautiful Vinh Trang Pagoda before boarding a motorboat to cruise along the mighty Mekong River.

Next, we transfer to a traditional sampan and glide through the Delta's peaceful coconut-lined canals, soaking in the tranquil scenery and local riverside life.
We then continue to Unicorn Islet, where we enjoy a variety of authentic local experiences, including fresh tropical fruits, honey tea, traditional folk music, and a delicious local lunch with vegan options available.

After that, we’ll visit Ben Tre Province, known as the Coconut Kingdom of the Mekong Delta where you’ll learn about local life and culture, explore traditional coconut-making, experience the peaceful village lifestyle and enjoy a leisurely cycle around the peaceful village roads.
After a memorable day of river life, local flavors, and countryside scenery, We return to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving at around 4:30PM to 5:00PM.

A day to remember on the Mekong Delta
I had the most wonderful trip to the Mekong Delta with VN Bike Tour. Not by bike but in a van. Jacky Hieu was our guide for the day. His knowledge of the area and his perfect English helped keep me informed. He explained every part of the day really well and was the best guided tour I have been on. This was more like a family tour with a friend than a commercial tour.
I have meet a new friend and would highly recommend Jacky as a preferred guide.
A wonderfull experience to remember.

Above expectations
Very nice experience. Guide tells interesting facts. Very diverse trip and the drive is not so long. From trying food, traditional music, boat tours and temple visit. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend
Our hotel wasnt in a district where they offer pickup (district 1 only) so we had to get a grab to their office which was fine. Tour was good, guide had lots of information about Vietnam. Tour was as described and we had no issues. The boats were my favourite part and coconut island.

The experience was so good . Mr David (big Dave) is damn nice person and a funny guide . Make the trip so good and make all feel like friends . So yah , ones who get David = a good trip obviously. At the end May lord bless him .

The Mekong Was Amazing, But David Stole the Show! 😂

Mekong River trip was amazing, but honestly Big Handsome David might have been the main attraction 😂 Super funny, friendly and full of energy. He kept us entertained the whole day while sharing lots of interesting stories about the Mekong Delta.
10/10 for the trip, 11/10 for David’s confidence in making sure we call him Big Handsome David in this review 😂

Tipping epidemic reaches Vietnam
There was an unusual amount of solicitation for gratuities on this tour, which is highly unusual for an Asian country. I am concerned about the compensation structure this company operates on and if they pay their workers, contractors and business partners fairly. Just one example is the small boat ride where the lady asked for money multiple times, she also had a kid with her which I hope she isn't using as leverage to encourage tipping. The overall experience wasn’t too bad for what was paid, but the persistent solicitation for tips did leave a very sour note on the trip.
