Mega Combo with Waterfall from JW Marriott Costa Elena

It was a fantastic excursion. Was picked up right in front of Dreams Las Mareas. Juann Ponce was our driver and he was great. We had the entire van to ourselves and there was only four of us. A private tour that didn’t cost the private tour amount. He stopped at a grocery store so we can get snacks and drinks before the trip started. He took us to some cool spots to take pictures and dive jets while we were going to the adventure park and gave us a great history lesson of Costa Rica. He would stop to for us to take pictures and for him to show us plants and animals. He was always offering to take pictures for us and explained every activity so we knew exactly what to do. The horseback riding was nice and relaxing that took you to a waterfall. Was about an hour and a half long. The zip-lining was awesome! You went from platform to platform over a river. Greatest zip-lining experience I have done. Unfortunately the tubing did not happen because the river was too high and not safe for us to do. The water fall was beautiful and walked over two hanging bridges. There is a lot of walking on this activity as you have to walked down and then up a bunch of stairs. About a fifteen minute walk but it is a little steep do to having to take stairs down and up. We had one person not able to do the walk so he let them sit in the van with the AC on so they could rest. He walked us down and up so he could take pictures of us on our own phones. The mud baths/hot springs were a ton of fun and a little hidden gem. About a fifteen minute walk. Easy walking and get to go over two bridges again. There are around 15 pools and Juann told us exactly how to do it to open your pores and enjoy ourselves. At the waterfall and mud bath/hot springs he gave us as much time as we want. Was not rushed at all. It was an all day excursions as we were picked up around 5:45am and got back at 5:45pm and we didn’t do the tubing so we may have been back later if we did that. Overall it was an awesome, relaxing, and fantastic excursion. A great way to see Costa Rica and well worth the money paid. If you can request Juann as he made the trip so much fun and would have him be our tour guide again! Fantastic way to end our trip!
