Our driver Taz was great! He has a great personality and is also very informative about the history of the island!
Taz was a fantastic guide! He had loads of local information and was mindful of the timeframe we had before we needed to return to our cruise ship. He even thoughtfully provided bottled water after for our time between locations. We fit in tequila tasting which was smooth, organic, and family owned and operated. This was followed by a guided tour of the Mayan Ruins with a local docent who was passionate and knowledgeable about the entire Mayan history. We finished our tour with a snorkeling tour and Taz connected us with a guide who pointed out all the colorful sea life identifying the various species of fish and who patiently helped our group of first timers have an incredible experience. Our time was capped by fresh fish tacos on the beach overlooking the aquamarine waters. 10/10 would call Taz for our next Cozumel adventure!
Wow! thank you so much for taking the time to share this! It truly means the world to us. It was an absolute pleasure spending the day with you all. I’m so happy we were able to fit in a little bit of everything! culture, history, ocean time, and of course great local food. That’s exactly the experience we love creating for our guests. Thank you as well for trusting us with your time while you were in port. We know how valuable cruise time is! Hope to see you soon
Our tour guide, Moy was excellent and knowledgeable! wilber, the driver was also good. highly recommend this tour as it it educational and the food at the restaurant they take you to is delicious ! The beach is gorgeous!
Oh wow is the best description! Our tour guide, Taz, was absolutely fantastic! The tour included so much more, TAZ! He is a wealth of interesting knowledge of this beautiful island. You can tell he truly wants each of the passengers to have their best day ever. The ruins were pure magical and breathtaking! Hacienda Antigua, lol interesting and fun! Ended our day with a delicious lunch and a little laziness on the beach. I highly recommend going ANYWHERE with Taz!!
We booked the Mayan Tour/lunch/ and Tequila tasting with Viator for Cozumel. We were pleased with our driver, Gerado who picked us up exactly where we needed to be. He was not JUST a driver but very informative as we rode to the ruins. He introduced us to the owner who introduced us to our guide, Pedro. Pedro was amazing and gave just the 4 of us in our group a private tour, avoiding the crowds and making our day memorable. When I mentioned I loved the Hibiscus, he picked one for me to put in my hair!!!! Lunch was slow but they were very busy and waiter apologized over and over. We were late but they squeezed us into the tequila tasting and still got us back to the ship on time. Would highly recommend this experience.
It's fantastic to hear that Gerado, your driver, played a key role in ensuring your trip started off on a positive note. We are proud to have informative and dedicated team members like him. We are pleased that Pedro, your guide, made the tour memorable with a private and personalized experience, steering clear of crowds. His thoughtful gesture of picking a Hibiscus for you truly adds a special touch to your day. We appreciate your understanding about the wait during lunch, and we're glad to hear that the tequila tasting still became a part of your experience, ensuring you made it back to the ship on time. Thank you for highly recommending this experience, and we look forward to welcoming you back for more unforgettable adventures in the future. Warm regards,
Señor Taz was prompt, kind and informative. He told us a lot about the island. He got us wonderful tour guides at San Gervasio and the tequila tour. Our lunch at the beach was excellent. If you are interested in meeting locals and learning about the culture I would highly recommend this tour.
Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience with us! We are thrilled to hear that Señor Taz made your tour memorable with his prompt, kind, and informative service. It warms our hearts to know that he provided valuable insights about the island and ensured you had wonderful guides at San Gervasio and the tequila tour. We are delighted that your beachside lunch exceeded expectations. Creating experiences that allow you to meet locals and delve into the rich cultural tapestry of Cozumel is precisely what we aim for. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we look forward to welcoming you back for more enriching experiences in the future. Warm regards, CTbC Team
Excellent tour guide Josue aka Josh! Josue was extremely informative and knowledgeable! The tour at San Gervasi would not have been the same without Josue….he taught us about so much history! Definitely would book another tour with Josue!!
This was an amazing tour! Our driver, Taz and guide, Pedro were both phenomenal. Both were very knowledgeable and personable. We went to a small beach where we had lunch and our drive purchased guacamole and ceviche for us so we could try it since it wasn’t included. It was a private tour so it was just our family in the van and they made it feel like they were friends showing us around their town. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting a personable tour of the island without the congestion of other people.
Thank you so much for taking time to write this amazing review and for helping us to spread the word about our services. Again thank you for your trust and preference.
We had a fantastic time, our guide met us at the port by our cruise ship and made our journey flexible for our family. He was knowledgeable and shared lots of information about the Mayan culture. We skipped out on the tequila portion of the tour since we had small children and were able to have extra beach time which they loved and the adults had a few extra drinks on the beach. The beach area was beautiful with lots to enjoy.
Driver Jose and our guide Alfonso were the best!! We had a private tour of of the ruins and of the island. We opted out of the snorkeling so they took us to other places of interest to us. We went to the churches, hospitals, and cemetery. We enjoyed a spice store visit and several memorials and monuments around the island. We learned the history of the island and tasted it as well. Get a private tour!!!!! It is worth the extra pennies for what you get.
