4 Hour Cozumel Turtle Sanctuary Experience on a Luxury Catamarán
Description
We're known for operating the best all-inclusive snorkel experiences on the island of Cozumel, including the famous 'El Cielo' and 'The Turtle Sanctuary'. We aim to visit 3 or 4 different destinations during the tour to give you a taste of what our beautiful island has to offer. We provide everything you need to enjoy the tour with us, including freshly prepared Mexican snacks and ice-cold drinks. Just turn up and we'll take care of the rest! Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your sailing time. All times shown are for Cozumel’s local timezone, which may differ to your cruise ship timezone. Check before booking. If you are late, we shall assume that you have failed to attend, and we reserve the right to continue the tour at the scheduled time in your absence. Unfortunately, if you are late or you miss your allotted booking time, it is very unlikely that we will be able to reallocate you or your party to another slot.

Pickup Locations & Times
Not suitable for infants or pets We can make pick up at certain hotels piers (see the list). You only have to pay the pier taxes directly to your hotel. Our departure is at 9:30AM or 2:00 PM from downtown. Collections from any hotels will be after these times - anywhere between 15 and 45 minutes, depending on the distance from the hotel. Note: The locations we have available at the hotel docks are for the use of the guests of the above mentioned hotels only. Our primary meeting point is in downtown Cozumel, to the South side of the ferry terminal underneath the giant flagpole (approximately 2 minutes walk). One of our staff will be there, clearly marked with our branded clothing and signage, to welcome you. For clients arriving by cruise ship from the S.S.A and Puerta Maya terminals, please select the 'Cid la Ceiba' hotel as your departure point, which is a few minutes walk from the Puerta Maya terminal and the SSA terminal door. You will only pay a tax of $4 USD per passenger for use of this dock and we can gladly pick you up by boat. Our staff will meet you at the entrance of the hotel La Ceiba to accompany you to the catamaran, and assist you with paying the hotel.

We stopped at 4 spots, a deep reef, a shallower one, a starfish spot, and near stingrays. It was was an incredible experience!

The catamaran, Poseidon, is NOT what I’d consider luxury. It wasn’t bad just not luxury, no open lounging nets. The first snorkel spot was a reef and could be skipped. It was very rough open water and not worth the effort. We stopped at 4 stops so they seemed rushed. The 2nd stop we did see 1 turtle so I was happy with that. The 3rd had large starfish and the last was a sandbar. We had a wonderful snack set up at the sandbar and there were stingrays swimming around here which was great! The photo guy did a good job but wanted $28 per photo or $130 for all photos of our group of 4 but all of our group didn’t participate in the photos. I feel like he should have discounted the total cost because of this, but he didn’t. We would have purchased the photos but he didn’t want to discuss a price adjustment. All in all, a good tour just not luxury, but you get what you pay for. Anytime on the water is a good day.

Snorkle sights have multiple other boat tours. Accidentally went with another group and had to hitch a ride to the boat at the next spot a lit bit away.

The crew was wonderful, and we all felt safe and well guided. They knew what they were doing and made it fun. We saw a ton of fish, even a lobster, a shark, a turtle, and lots of sting rays. The snack at the last stop was unexpected and a lot of fun. We were aware from other reviews not to wear sunscreen and that there wasn’t shade. However, for a bunch of Europeans and Americans, it wasn’t a luxury catamaran - it was an entry level small boat, and we were fit in there pretty tightly. There was room for 22 plus crew and on our tour there was 20, and felt like every seat was taken. Since there was no shade, and no sunscreen allowed, most of us got pretty burned. We have been on other catamarans in the area that have shade, so had thought the catamaran was going to be much larger. The snorkeling was world class, the food and drinks were perfect, the crew - amazing. I would still do it again, but beware it is not a “luxury” catamaran.

Regarding sunscreen, our policy is in place to help protect Cozumel’s delicate marine ecosystem. We understand that spending time in the sun without sunscreen can be challenging, so we strongly recommend bringing a rash guard, UV-protective clothing, a hat, and other sun-protection options that are permitted.
very fun with my family including grandma and grandpa the captain is a pain because he only wants us to eat drink and be happy!!! they showed us several kinds of fish including stingrays, starfish and more! the crew is really great highly recommend!!!

The crew was beyond amazing! They went above and beyond for all guests including my 4 yo son who wasnt able to snorkle. They pointed us to best viewing spots of boat while observing from boat. They made sure thw other part of my family, including 3 kids under 12, were safe snorkeling. Fresh food and margarita included was also so good. I'm not a fish person but the cerviche was really tasty. Amazing experience. Definitely better going from our cruise through the company instead of through the cruise excursion.
