We hadn't heard of Matera before traveling to Puglia. During our tour of Alberobello with Fransesco a few days prior, he mentioned Matera as a must-see historic treasure. Fransesco has spent time in this ancient city, and his passion shows. His tour through Matera and its history should not be missed.

We were very satisfied with our Bari Walk through history Tour so we decided to double up with Matera.The three hour walk proved to be very interesting and fun without being too taxing on our legs due to the millions of steps one has to climb in the town.
