Hicham is a great driver, super friendly, and very knowledgeable. You can customize your experience and see things unlike you’ve ever seen before. 10/10!
We had a wonderful two days with Hicham. Our three kids loved the camels, sand boarding and the quad bikes at camp. He is a great driver over the mountains and very welcoming. We will be back to explore more of Morocco!
Driver was fantastic and very kind. Spoke great English and was extremely helpful in passing the long drives!!
Great experience. 2-day Zagora tour with great stops along the way. Thank you for everything! We will definitely book again with him when we come back.
A tour was booked with an English-speaking driver/guide. In fact, he only spoke broken English and preferred French. Explanations about the country and its people, as I would expect from a guide, did not take place accordingly. We had to pay extra for the guide in Ait-Ben-Haddou. Additionally, the driver was extremely rude. The visit to the Atlas Studios included in the tour did not take place. It is also unclear to me why 10 travelers were distributed among 3 accommodations. And a simple tent accommodation does not become "luxury" just by adding a bathroom with only dripping water. On the second day, we just sat and drove, with no tourist program. The only interruptions were far too long for lunch, restrooms, and coffee at places that would have no guests without organized tours. In conclusion, the tour does not make sense from the outset. You sit on the bus for 7 to 9 hours a day, plus 2 hours for lunch/restroom breaks. What do you get for that? To see Ait-Ben-Haddou, a camel ride, and beautiful landscapes.
Dear sir Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that some aspects of the tour did not meet your expectations. Our Zagora tour is designed as a budget shared group experience, and because of the long distance between Marrakech and the desert, there are indeed several hours of driving each day. However, this journey also allows travelers to discover the beautiful Atlas Mountains, traditional Berber villages, Ait Ben Haddou, the desert landscapes, and the camel ride experience. Regarding the language issue, we sincerely apologize if the communication level of the driver did not correspond to your expectations. We will certainly discuss this internally to improve the experience for future guests. For Ait Ben Haddou, local guides are independent official guides at the site and their service is optional, which is why it is not included in the shared tour price. Concerning the Atlas Studios, sometimes the stop depends on timing, traffic, and the overall schedule of the group tour. We are sorry if this was disappointing. We also regret that the accommodation did not fully satisfy you. In shared group tours, guests may be distributed between nearby camps or riads depending on availability and room arrangements. We truly appreciate your honest comments, as they help us improve our services. We are happy that you still enjoyed the landscapes, Ait Ben Haddou, and the camel experience, and we wish you all the best in your future travels in Morocco. Kind regards, Hicham Morocco Happiness Tours
It was an amazing journey. Our guide Saïd was cheerful, kind and attentive to our requests. They even took us to a local market and played instruments at night. You will never forget the beauty of the Atlas Mountains! Thank you very much.
This was just a brilliant experience, covering 800km in two days... from the madness of Marrakesh, over the Atlas Mountains, and through to the edge of the desert. The camp, tent and entertainment were really great. And our guide (Taha) was friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to be with. Thoroughly recommend!

1. The photo is not accurate! You're not going to rolling sand dunes. It's a rocky, flat desert, with a small hill range. 2. It's 11 hours to get there and 10 hours back in the van!!! Do you want to spend two full days in a van full of strangers!? I got stuck with a kid throwing up in the back and obnoxiously loud ladies in the front seat blaring their choice of music. You do stop a few times; bio breaks, lunch, and tourist traps. Also, the air vents were busted so air was blasting in my face without a way to stop it or redirect it. 3. The drive through the mountains is pretty, but that's only a third of the drive. 4. The driver/guide was very nice though, not his fault this information is not shared upfront. Becuase of the reasons I share above, I know why they don't disclose this info.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re truly sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify a few important points for future travelers. The 2-day tour from Marrakech to Zagora is clearly described as a long journey through different landscapes of Morocco, including the Atlas Mountains, valleys, and desert areas. Zagora is known for its rocky desert and palm groves, while the large rolling sand dunes are located further in Merzouga, which requires a longer trip. We always try to be transparent about this distinction. Regarding the travel time, yes, this itinerary involves long driving hours, which is standard for this destination due to the distance. We include multiple stops for rest, photos, and meals to make the journey more comfortable. As for the situation in the vehicle, we understand how shared group tours can sometimes be unpredictable depending on other travelers. However, we always aim to provide a comfortable and safe experience, and we will take your note about the air vents seriously to improve our vehicles. We do appreciate your kind words about the driver/guide — we are proud to work with professional and caring team members. Your feedback is valuable, and we will continue improving both our communication and service to ensure better experiences for future guests.
