Marrakech: Ourika Valley Villages & Waterfalls Private Day Trip

The drive from Marrakech to the Ourika Valley was fun and informative. We left at 9:00 a.m. so that our driver got us to a village near the falls before the big crowds in the tour buses arrived. He engaged a local guide (included in the trip price) to lead us across the river and up the trail to the first level of falls. Along the way, we saw shops, crafts workers, restaurants, monkeys, and beautiful scenery. The driver and guide were courteous and helpful all along the way. What a great experience!

In December I prepared for a family trip to Marrakech and Ourika. This time, we had a different guide who was equally friendly and helpful throughout the journey. The accommodations were comfortable, and the staff provided exceptional service. We enjoyed traditional meals that were both delicious and authentic. The entire experience was wonderful, leaving us with great memories. Thank you to everyone who made it special!

In August, I packed travel essentials with my 4-year-old for a trip to Marrakech and Ourika. There, we had Rashid as our tour guide, and he was very friendly with us. He accompanied us to the dining area, where the service was excellent, and the staff were kind to us. The food was wonderful and delicious. Thank you, Rashid!

It was the coolest of things when my husband and I went to a trip to Marrakech Orika. The mentor was nice. I hid with us to the Urika Falls, as well as the valley of the valley where the water was running. It was a great view.

Friendly, good treatment, we loved it, we went to Oureca a nice experience. I recommend it!!...Omar very friendly and attentive.

We had the best tour guide/driver (Mansour from Morocco Luxe Tours) of any Viator excursion in Morocco thus far. He was kind, professional, humorous, and wanted to ensure that we had an enjoyable experience. While hiking to see the waterfalls, I got tired and wanted to stop for a minute. He was so kind and actually walked back to the nearest shop and got me a bottled water. Thank you for Mansour for caring deeply for us.

We had a fantastic experience on this day trip. We stopped at a Berber rug store where we were showing the different types or rugs made by the Berber women. We ended up buying two of them. Then we stopped at the Ourika Valley and hike d to the waterfalls and halfway we stopped at a stand for the women in our group to dress on the tradition garments of the Berber women. Later we returned to have lunch at one of the restaurants and have typical meal of this area by the stream. I was a wonderful experience; the guide was very helpful and courteous, made sure that we were safe on our hike. The driving to this area was somehow intense because the way people drive, we had a couple of close calls.

Abdul and Rachid were wonderful guides, we had a really good time and the views were beautiful. The lunch was also amazing. Highly recommend. :)

Nice excursion to the Ourika Valley. Hiking to a.waterfall, on a fairly rugged trail.... Be careful to wear good walking shoes. Nice and kind Guide. Meals by the river very exotic. Nice day.

Not happy with this trip, I booked with pick up from hotel. I had your operator pick call to say that he will charge more because I am outside Marrakesh. I told him I have paid pick up service but he said it will cost me more so I had to cancel this trip and my kids where very disappointed.
