Ride to the launch spot in the early morning and drift through the dawn skies over the desert valleys and hillsides. Then, land safely back on ground to enjoy a tasty Berber breakfast. A flight certificate to commemorate your balloon ride is also included.
Rise early and leave your Marrakech hotel with your guide. Relax inside the air-conditioned vehicle as you travel to the launch site in time for your balloon ride. On arrival, boost your energy with pastries, tea, and coffee and look on as your experienced crew prepares your balloon. Climb into the spacious basket for takeoff. Thrill as your balloon rises into the skies and ogle the aerial views of the desert as you float through the air. Amazing, amazing trip. Booked sunrise and to be honest disappointed as despite being picked up at 5am we missed it as others had gone before. However, the trip, guide, transport, food was excellent. @redi was a great guide in the ballon, made sure to turn it down we all got chance of great photos. Taking off and landing was perfect with only gentle lifts. The other grou d and serving staff were all truly fantastic. Given we only paid about £50 each all in, my daughter and I absolutely loved it. We will do this again in another cpu try and would highly recommend it if you’re in Marrakesh. We were back at the hotel by about 10am so still had the full day.
The experience started as booking advice from contact, collection, travel and arrival croissant and juice just as expected..perfect! On arrival to our first site, whilst there was no clear communication it was obvious drivers and balloons were trying to coordinate pick up locations! … so we went to find ours! Our take off, landing and unbelievable views were outstanding, our pilot was knowledgable, experienced and made us feel safe, for what was a totally unforgettable experience. Wow!! From the moment of pick up, (which was prompt & we were kept well informed via whatsapp) at 4am, to the return to our hotel, I have nothing but positive things to write about. We arrived to a set up of tea, coffee and juice and waited in the most beautiful & authentic tent until we were ready to hop in our bus to take us to our balloon. We watched them prepare the balloons, which I found mesmerising, then we were guided to our balloon and we climbed into our basket (not the most glamorous entrance or exit but funny). Our pilot was Sancho- funny and experienced. He made people feel at ease & told us a bit about himself and his ballooning career. We then lifted off & I can only describe it as magical! Being up in the air like that, surrounded by other balloons, the sun rising over the Atlas mountains, and not a sound to be heard (apart from the occasional firing). He spoke us through what we could see, what he was communicating over the radio and informing us of what was coming up as we planned to land. The whole team work tirelessly & made the whole experience one to remember. When we landed, the mini bus took us back to the tent for our breakfast- a fantastic spread with something for everyone! A must do if in Marrakech ❤️

A spectacular experience from start to finish. Everything was perfect: organization, safety, cleanliness, treatment, and every little detail. They made us feel like true sultans. I want to especially thank Lina, our pilot. She was wonderful: cheerful, approachable, fun, playing music, creating a beautiful atmosphere, and attentive to everyone at all times. She made the balloon ride even more magical. And also to Mustafá, who picked us up and accompanied us throughout the experience. A charming, kind, and very professional person. From the very first minute, he conveyed confidence to us. Honestly, I would have liked to know the name of each person who works there to thank them one by one, because everyone, absolutely everyone, made the experience unforgettable. I cannot name them all, but each person contributed something special. There was always someone smiling, making sure you were well, that you lacked nothing, serving you tea, ensuring the food was perfect, helping you get on and off the balloon safely, accompanying you, explaining things to you, and taking care of every moment. A level of attention and detail that I honestly had never experienced before. The breakfast was a marvel: everything freshly prepared at the moment, delicious, and made with great care. Additionally, they had lovely touches like giving us traditional hats for photos and videos. Everything was designed to ensure that the memory would be perfect. It is clear that they do not just offer an activity; they create a complete experience. And they do it with incredible human quality. It was not just flying in a balloon. It was living a dream. Thank you for giving us such a beautiful memory.
I booked it at a Kiosk in Manira Mall Marrakech with a Lady called Fatima. She scammed us by giving us a price In Dhirams and also took a deposit in Dhirams. We got picked up around 5.45 am in the morning. We are a family of 6 with 4 young children. once we got to the desert one of the your operator Waleed asked us to give him the remaining cost which was now in Euros, and worked out a higher price to the one advertised online. He was like if you don't pay this you will be stranded on the desert. I was very scared for my family. My younger child who is 6 years old was in tears. Finally we agreed to pay the driver 300 Dhirams to get us back to our hotel. We did not trust them and wanted to be safe. My kids were very upset as they missed out on The experience. Never book from these people. They are scammers and want to make money from you, and the guy Waleed was very rude and disrespectful. I hope no one goes through what me and my family had to go through.
Dear Sir, We are sorry to read your review, however the information you have shared is not accurate. Your booking voucher clearly showed the total price of 600 EUR, broken down as follows: 80 EUR per child (x4) and 140 EUR per adult (x2). This amount was clearly indicated in EUR, not in MAD. Walid showed you your voucher on the day of the activity, where the price was clearly stated in euros in black and white. You stated that you believed the total was 600 MAD (100 MAD=10$ per person), but a full hot air balloon experience including transport, two breakfasts, the flight, and a flight certificate cannot be provided for that amount. As the agreed amount was not paid, the activity could not go ahead. The transport to the launch area had already been provided, therefore you were asked to pay 600 MAD to cover the return transfer to your hotel. This was not an additional fee, but simply payment for the transport already provided. We regret the misunderstanding, but all prices and conditions were clearly communicated in advance, and no additional charges were applied beyond what was shown on your voucher. Kind regards,
Most fantastic hot air balloon ride ever with MarrakechByAir and with Lina, Africas youngest, best and nicest balloon driver and balloon OWNER!!! One year ago Lina was also responsible for our 94 year grandma Wold´s first ever balloon ride and grandma loved it and Lina. And Lina still have the picture on her phone: oldest passenger - youngest driver = 🥇 Recommended!
Let me start with The pick up, we really amazed that at 6am our driver Kawtar was already outside our hotel waiting for us with the door open, that’s when I knew me and my wife would be having lovely journey we enjoyed an amazing breakfast before the hot air balloon ride and after, The drive back home was also very comfortable great hospitality and an amazing experience deffo recommend:)
I really enjoyed the experience from the transport to the food, the people, our driver Kawtar was lovely and of course the activity itself. It was a beautiful surprise to have experienced, Thank you to the team
The activity was cancelled because of the weather, we asked to change the date for the next day they said okay but after they don’t answer at all . And I did get my money back
