Marrakech City: Private Full Day Sightseeing Tour

We star our journey with an importante visit of the Botanical garden and artist's landscape garden in Marrakech, It was created by the French Orientalist artist, Jacques Majorelle back in 1923, and was only opened to the public in 1947. After , we continue our visite by the The Berber Museum, inaugurated in 2011 under the High Patronage of His Majesty Mohammed VI, King of Morocco, is housed in the former painting studio of the artist Jacques Majorelle. It presents a panorama of the extraordinary creativity of the Berbers (Imazighen), the most ancient people of North Africa. More than 600 objects, collected from the Rif Mountains to the Sahara by Pierre Bergé and Yves Saint Laurent, attest to the richness and diversity of this vibrant culture, which is still very much alive today

Dedicated to the work of the legendary French fashion designer, the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech (mYSLm) opened its doors in autumn 2017. It houses an important selection from the Fondation Pierre Bergé – Yves Saint Laurent’s impressive collection, which comprises 5,000 items of clothing, 15,000 haute couture accessories as well as tens of thousands of sketches and assorted objects. The building has been designed by the French architecture firm Studio KO, founded by architects Olivier Marty and Karl Fournier. Situated on Rue Yves Saint Laurent, adjacent to the famous Jardin Majorelle, the new building spans over 4,000 m2 and is more than just a museum. It features a 400 m2 permanent exhibition space, showcasing Yves Saint Laurent’s work within an original scenography designed by Christophe Martin; a 150 m2 temporary exhibition space, a 130-seat auditorium, a bookshop, a café-restaurant with a terrace and a research library housing 5,000 books

After finishing by the Majorelle Garden ,the Berber Museum and the Yves Saint laurent Muesem ,Gueliz (Pass By) On your way to the Medina, you'll pass by the 'new city', the modern side of Marrakech. The area was designed & built by the French in the early 1900s, and is today the thriving heart of the Red city, where you can spot popular international brands and fine cafés. You'll also pass by its main avenue, that we love to call "the Champs Elysées of Marrakech".

Then , we drive through crossing the walls of the old town , we calle it the Medina , to the Koutoubia Mosque Koutoubia Mosque, founded in 1147, it is Marrakech's largest mosque and the landmark of city itself which has inspired other buildings such as the Giralda of Seville and the Hassan Tower of Rabat. your guide will take for tour here and offer so much information about it.

We continue driving by the imperial Kasbah with a stop in a famous geat, Bab Agnaou is one of the 19 gates that allows you to penetrate inside the ramparts of the city of Marrakech. This gate (“bab” in Arabic) dates from the Almohad Berber period, in the 12th century. It served as an entrance to the administrative and military complex of the Caliphal Kasbah, citadel of power, from the south of the city. Flanked by 2 cannons, it is one of the most impressive gates of Marrakech.

We arrive to an importe monument : Bahia Palace , by driving by the the Jewish quarter, the Bahia or the (The Beautiful) is an 8000-sq-metre, floor-to-ceiling extravagance of intricate marquetry, plasterwork and zouak (painted wood), and certainly one of Marrakesh's most eye-popping sights. Built by Grand Vizier Si Moussa in the 1860s, the salons of both the Petit Riad and Grand Riad host intricate marquetry and zouak ceilings, but the Cour d'Honneur, a grand courtyard, with its 1500 sq metre floor of Italian Carrara marble, is the undisputed highlight. Despite the vast area on show, only a portion of the palace’s eight hectares and 150 rooms is open to the public. Its grand spaces sometimes play host to important cultural events.

After finishing our visit of the Bahia Place, we take lunch break to enjoy your meal with a traditionnel Moroccan food ,we walk in the Semmarine Souks to explore and discover all of the colorful markets or ''Souks'' Just follow your guide to discover the markets in Marrakech's Medina where Arab and Berber cultures explode with color, noise and originality. After finishing with the labyrinth of the Souks , we arrive in the famous popular squar , calle it : Jamaa El Fna squar, where we can found the snake charmers, storytellers, acrobats and street vendors animate the old walled city from Jemaa El Fnaa square. In the evening becomes a place for food, with small restaurants in the open-air. This is the main attraction of tourists in Marrakech.

Lastly, we finish our visite with the last sightseeing monumet , Ben Youssef Madrasa The largest Koranic school of the Medina, functioning today as a historical site, the Ben Youssef Madrasa was the largest Islamic college in Morocco at its height. It is named after the adjacent Ben Youssef Mosque founded by the Almoravid Sultan Ali ibn Yusuf (reigned 1106-1142) It’s considered one of the best spots of the red city, your guide will provide so much information about it.
