Itinerary
Set out on this guided tour to explore Marrakech's cultural treasures, including the Medersa Ben Youssef, the Secret Garden, and bustling markets. Immerse yourself in the city's rich history and vibrant present through this immersive experience.
Begin your walking tour at the Koutoubia Mosque, the city's largest, known for its historical ties to bookshops. Admire its Almohad architectural style, featuring a tower adorned with four copper globes.
From here, you continue to the Ben Youssef Medersa, an esteemed medieval Islamic school celebrated for its architectural brilliance. Originally established by Sultan Abou el Hassan in the 14th century, it underwent reconstruction in the 1560s by the Saadians and accommodated approximately 800 students who committed the Koran to memory. Regarded as among Marrakesh's and Morocco's finest edifices, the Medersa displays quintessential Moroccan architectural elements, such as detailed zellij tiling, ornate stucco plasterwork, and intricately carved cedarwood.
Afterward, you will venture into the Secret Garden, a hidden oasis of palaces amidst the bustling medina, showcasing Islamic art and architecture. Concealed behind plain walls, it offers a peaceful retreat from Marrakech's lively pace. Wander through lush greenery, enjoy colorful blooms, and the tranquil sounds of fountains. Le Jardin Secret seamlessly blends serenity with the city's vibrant atmosphere.
The adventure culminates in the lively souks - the vibrant heart of Marrakech—the lively souks! Here, you'll discover a variety of traditional Moroccan handicrafts, spices, medicinal remedies, and local entertainment. Explore iconic items such as babouches, leather goods, garments, pottery, tagine dishes, and silver jewelry. Don't forget that bargaining is a common practice, adding a sense of fun and excitement to your shopping experience.

Mohammed is an exceptional guide. He has an impeccable knowledge of history and recounts it with passion. How lucky to have run into him a 2nd time. Thank you 🙏
Wonderful tour with the delightful Hasssn who showed so much passion for his city. Incredible information provided and despite having previously visited I saw many places I hadn’t visited. I would highly recommend
Tour was very well planned and organized. Ali, the tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
A really informative tour and a good insight into the medina .
It’s a short trip with two spectacular attractions. Our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. If you have a spare afternoon at which you’re only planning to wander around, get lost in the market and perhaps buy some souvenirs, while you’d also learn a bit about the area, this trip is for you.
Beautiful and interesting, one of the best sites we visited in Marrakesh.

Thank you so much for your lovely review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed exploring Marrakech and that the Secret Garden and the Quranic school were highlights of your visit. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back to Morocco again soon! Hamza and Moments in Morocco Team
The desert excursion is good, but you have to consider the large number of hours spent on the mic. In our case, although they said it was with a guide, there was only the driver who spoke very little and above in French. That there is no guide to explain a little about the experience seemed very bad, it was not what they offered and I had hired
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're pleased that you enjoyed the desert experience, but we're sorry to hear that the tour did not fully meet your expectations regarding the guide service and commentary during the journey. We truly value your comments and will review them with our team as we continue working to improve the experience we provide. Hamza and Moments in Morocco Team
