We did this visit without a guide. There are plenty of explicative notices dotted around to give you a good idea of what you are seeing and an audio guide is also available. It’s an interesting site and worth the visit even though there are renovation works going on at the moment.
It was a great experience, also the Tickets was send directly to my WhatsApp Number on the Night of my visit and this give me plenty of time to visit the palace, also the Audio Guide Link was very useful, realy it was a great experience on Marrakach
Bahia Palace is a magnificent palace, as is Marrakech, and it is one of the stops not to be missed. To be seen calmly, so it is better to come early in the morning and buy tickets a few days before on viator because the influx of people is high. The system works perfectly and the ticket is also sent on whatsapp on the day of the visit itself.
Tha Palace was too crowded, under major renovations and underwhelming compared with many other cultural sights and palaces. They need timed entry to even out crowds. Couldn't sort out audio guide so I contacted Viatour but by the time they responded with an audio link it was too late
A bit confusing when entering because there are some ticket booths, but they are for buying the official tickets. We had an audio guide and with the link they give you, you need a password.
Visited Bahia Palace after purchasing tickets on Viator. Once we received the tickets everything was fine, however communication regarding when and how to receive was poor. Had to send many messages. Didn’t get until 1:00 am day of which made it difficult to plan our day. We were hoping to go first thing in morning but were delayed and there was a crowd at the palace.
We paid $13.00 USD a person X4. They did not accept our ticket or vouchers at the door. We were also told that the audio tour was not included with the type of ticket we had. They told us we needed separate tickets. Needless to say a waste of time and money plus walking 15 minutes to get there in 104 degrees weather.
This reviewer is lying just because i don't want to give him 50% refund, and i have proof Also, the review was posted on September 14, while your booking was for September 15. Yet you described what supposedly happened at the entrance. We also have WhatsApp proof that your tickets and audio guide were sent to you. If you had any issue, you could have contacted us instead of posting a review based on an experience that had not yet happened. To future customers: check the dates and the facts before believing this review. The evidence speaks for itself.
We arrived around 11:30 ish we had been provided access to an audio guide, which was a nice idea, although we don’t completely utilise it, as my family just wanted to explore, we looked around the amazing gardens and interesting rooms, with unique architecture, however my family got bored after a while, plus one of the nice gardens was being renovated on the day we visited. Overall something worthwhile seeing but wouldn’t recommend going with the family.
