On this tour, you'll get a chance to have dinner in the desert of Agafay. You'll leave Marrakech and head to the desert for a camel-riding experience at sunset and a three-course Moroccan dinner. While watching a picturesque sunset, you can have a refreshing cup of mint tea after your camel ride. As night falls, you'll be served a three-course traditional dinner around a campfire. When you finish dinner, you can take in the silence of the desert before making your way back to the city.
The High Atlas Mountains and Agafay Desert offer stunning and contrasting views, easily accessible from Marrakech. The High Atlas, with its rugged peaks, including Mount Toubkal, provides dramatic mountain scenery and opportunities for hiking and exploring Berber villages. The Agafay Desert, a rocky landscape with rolling hills and canyons, offers a serene escape with unique desert vistas and opportunities for activities like camel rides and quad biking.
Agafay is a reg located about thirty kilometers from the red city of Marrakech , on the first heights of the High Atlas massif in Morocco , which extends over several hundred hectares 1 , 2. It is covered with stones and rocks in a hilly environment composed of hills with white and ochre tones.
Return to Marrakech around 10:30 pm and drop-off at the same location.

We had such a good experience. Our guide, Ilias, made the activity that much better. He made sure we weee comfortable and having a good time. The activity and dinner were a 10/10!

We had a great time on the trip. Our guide Ilias explained everything all the way through and was really helpful. Our pick up point had been changed so after a few emails that was sorted quickly and we were collected from and dropped off at our hotel. The experience was amazing value for money

This was a fantastic trip and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Although there was an initial problem whereby we were expected to be picked up from the hotel, this was sorted out. We were collected at the time that we were advised. The driver provided water and explained what we would be doing and at what times. The camel ride was good, everyone was friendly and when we went to the camp for the evening, the staff were really quick to cater, the food was lovely, and the atmosphere great. Fun music and dancing followed by a fire show. One tip - take a jumper - it can get chilly in the desert at night! Overall really great value for money and a lovely way to spend the last night of our holiday. throroughly recommend!

Agafay Desert Sunset and Camel Ride with Dinner from Marrakech. This is the trip we took. It was great fun. Not sure camel ride is for eberyone but I am 74 and i survived the camel. Our guide was excellent he took us to a lake to watch the sunset before going to our camp for dinner and show. Great value for money.
The task is very different from the description. The Agafy desert is now covered with grass and therefore has very little of the desert sand. the camel ride is a walk of very few meters just to take some pictures and nothing more. While we saw in the distance other camel tours more adventurous in the desert. Dinner is joined to many other groups arriving at different times so we finished that there was still light but we had to wait for everyone to eat and dine about 2 hours after we had already finished dinner. The show lasts 10 minutes and started after 2130 when the departure was for 21. If you go with children (I was with an 11-year-old son) the risk is that they will not eat anything they bring because it is too spicy and particular.
