Underwhelming
The on site directions were very good. A staff member took us to the ticket machines and took us through the process even though we didn’t ask or expect him to do it. We think he did it for us because we’re seniors so it was very considerate of him.
It was very hazy yesterday so the view was affected by that. However even without the haze we felt it was an underwhelming experience and could get more value for money from other experiences.

Fantastic view of Singapore
The view is so cool up here at the very top of this Marina Bay Sands. Best way to see the city from high above especially at sunset. Then settle for drinks at the bar before adjpurning for dinner.

A Must Do when in Singapore
WOW - worth every penny - go at sunset, you will not be disappointed. The views of the city are amazing and they offer snack and refreshments up top as well. They don't push you through or time you but be advised, if you are going to the restaurant Ce La Vie, that you will not be permitted back on the observation deck. We made that mistake. Walking through the hotel is a treat and you can take your time window shopping sa well.

Caution - do not book
CAUTION !!.. DO NOT BOOK
We booked the 6pm slot 1x month in advance to watch the sunset. The tour operator contacted us on the day to say that only earlier or later time slots were available which meant we were going to miss the sunset.
Upon arriving to the venue, we could book the 6pm time slot we requested and paid for directly with no issues ?
The tour operator became abusive over text and refused a refund & said that “many had tried to get a refund in the past and was also refused” .. what an awful human.
DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS OPERATOR !

memories were made
This was great simply from having a dream come true. I had seen it in TV shows and films and on social media and felt like Singapore and the Marina Bay Sands skypark were something unachievable. So when it became a reality - I was simply happy.
Realistically - once your on the viewing platform you could be anywhere in a high rise building. But memories were made and I'd still go again.
Taking photos and looking at the view take around 10mins.
We opted to stay and wait for both the rhapsody light show in the skytrees / gardens and the water fountain show in the event plaza. We timed it right so that we could see the sun setting behind the city skyline and see the two events one after the other from the observation deck
We also treated ourselves to a singapore sling.
Note: if you do stay to see any of the light or water shows in the evening - then there will be a long wait and queue to get the lift back down.
