Margarita Masterclass: Tequila, Taste & Technique

We had a great time at the margarita class. We learned some history regarding tequila, mezcal and raicilla. Tasted 5 shots then made two margaritas ourselves, one classic margarita and one from their specialty bar menu. It was fun, informative and professionally conducted. The restaurant and bar are lovely, the staff was fun yet courteous and the drinks were awesome. You will enjoy this much more than the typical tequila tasting and then being pressure to buy bottles.

Luis and Jorge at Bonito Lounge were excellent. I would highly recommend this experience, even if you feel like you already know “everything” about tequila and margaritas. It was well with it.

LOVED this class! Luis taught me so much I had no idea about re tequila, mezcal and raicilla. He's totally changed my approach to all three and I'll take all I learned and shall hopefully apply well. This was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Chato was a fantastic teacher and host, and I learned so much! I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone looking to learn more about tequila, mezcal, raicilla and margaritas.

A really great experience! I would recommend to anyone who likes Margaritas. The person running the class is very knowledgeable about tequila's and mezcal's and we learned a lot about margarita making and the history of the spirits. Every detail of the experience was very well thought out to give the best experience!

The class was a small group allowing for a personal experience giving everyone a chance to ask questions and participate in mixing cocktails. Would recommend this as a fun thing to do with friends or family

We learned so much! They spend a lot of time teaching you about the history and process of making tequila, and how to determine a great bottle. Then, you get to taste the flavor profiles of a few different tequilas and mezcals before diving in to make three margaritas of your own — which were fantastic! They were incredibly nice and made the whole experience SO fun and we are excited to get home and practice recreating what we learned. If you want to expand your knowledge of tequila or have an incredible cocktail recipe on hand to impress your friends, this is a MUST DO in Puerto Vallarta.
