Manu National Park 4-Day Eco Tour from Cusco

I was supposed to go on this tour a day earlier but the other group cancelled last minute and on the way there I realised I didn’t feel comfortable going completely alone as a solo female. The company understood and was very nice about it, they took me back to my hostel and offered for me to join the next day when there would be other people. The trip was very professional and a once in a lifetime experience. The guide José was extremely knowledgeable about different plants and animals in the rainforest and was realistic about what we could potentially see and what was unlikely. I saw lots of amazing wildlife on the trip and really enjoyed the jungle walks. The accommodation was obviously basic but I was surprised at the lodges having wifi and I even had phone signal as well. The food was incredible the chef is very talented and makes sure to cook enough that nobody goes hungry throughout the day. I would 100% recommend the tour to everyone.

The Manu rainforest tour with José and Vilca was an unforgettable, one-of-a-kind experience. José‘s skills to spot animals allowed us to observe wildlife such as insects (butterflies, gigantic cicadas, leaf-cutter ants, bullet ants), a baby tarantula, frogs, colourful birds (cock-of-the-rock, quetzal, potoo, oropendolas, hummingbirds, Amazon kingfisher, orange-backed troupial, screamers, hoatzins, macaws, parakeets, Psophia trumpeter bird, white-throated toucans), fish (Pacu) and mammals (tayras, monkeys, capybaras (even if it was just a glimpse of a hidden individual)). He‘s been a guide for 20+ years and it shows: he frequently shared stories and facts about Peru, Manu and the local flora and fauna. The program was diverse and included a visit to an Inka cemetery, waterfalls, a hummingbird observatory, boat trips, jungle walks during the day and night, a raft ride and a clay lick visit. We were positively surprised about the delicious meals, which included various vegetarian options and even desserts. What we particularly enjoyed was the privacy of double rooms, options for single beds and en-suite bathrooms. All in all, it was an extremely well-organized trip that I can highly recommend to anyone who‘s eager to venture into the jungle and immerse themselves in the extraordinary Amazon rainforest.

We had a great tour with Michell, he was a really knowledgeable and friendly guide. The journey from Cusco to the jungle is spectacular. The Paititi Lodge was comfortable and Wilfredo the cook did a fantastic job of catering to the many dietary requirements of our fellow travellers. What really exceeded my expectations was the wildlife- we saw many spectacular birds and monkeys, capybara, insects and plants. We spent nothing beyond the cost of the trip itself - apart from a tiny amount for breakfast on day one and a visit to a bird sanctuary to see hummingbirds. All in all great value if you are travelling on a limited budget.

Magnificent experience at the Manu park. Everything was organized to perfection from start to finish. We had the opportunity to observe a large number of animals, plants and discover a unique lifestyle in this Amazon rainforest. I highly recommend this experience that allows you to discover another part of Peru.

The booking did not show up on Viator, but once we found the organization and contacted them, it was no longer a problem. Changing the departure date also went smoothly. Our guide, José, was funny and very knowledgeable (thanks!). The drive to/in the national park is long with many switchbacks (it is actually 2 days of travel). We saw many animals and had a great group. We went rafting and were on a giant swing! Hummingbirds, monkeys, spiders, and especially ants!

It was a really nice trip! The tour Guide Michelle was super nice and showed us lots of nice animals. The food and the acommondations were incredible! I would higly recommend. Was a nuce vibe!

ATTENTION: DO NOT BOOK TROUGH VIATOR. SCAM! I paid 400€ euro. If you book directory at the office you pay 300 dollar. Currencydiff. 150€. But: the tour was great! Great food! Great guide Mitchel who is motivated and enthousiastic. Rooms are good. And the nature is stunning! Great tour!

An absolutely unforgettable experience in Manu!!! We want to especially thank Wily, our guide, for his great professionalism, knowledge, and passion for nature; he made every tour unique. Also to Don José, our driver, for his commitment and enormous dedication throughout the trip, and to Frida, whose excellent cooking made every meal a true pleasure. Just as a suggestion, we believe it would be important to review the driver's working conditions. The safety and well-being of the team are as important as the travelers' experience, and having adequate rest times would benefit everyone. Thank you very much for an adventure we will always remember!

Miguel was an absolutely incredible tour guide! He was extremely knowledgeable on so much of the local flora and fauna in the jungle! Not only was he informative but he was absolutely fun and hospitable! He made sure we were always comfortable, well informed, and accommodated to the absolute best of his and our abilities. He also allowed there to be room for some free time where we could decide what we wanted to do and how to spend our time if we had something in mind. The food was phenomenal and the views were spectacular! 10/10 would recommend and definitely plan to make this trip again in the future!
