My husband and I had the most fantastic time on this tour. I'm not sure even where to start, I can't praise it enough! If you're planning on booking any trip in Peru...this is the company to go with! Everyone went above and beyond to make our experience the best it could be. We were so out of our comfort zone with 4 days in the jungle, but the guides were absolutely fantastic. We didn't want for anything and they were so knowledgeable and friendly. Over two days, we stayed in two different lodges which meant we maximised our experience by staying in two locations. Both lodges were primative but you do have to be prepared for minimal comfort in the jungle. However, they were clean and had everything we needed. The lodge owners have gone above and beyond to ensure maximum comfort with beds and mosquitos nets and fully meshed walls. The food was great in both lodges. One was buffet style and the other we were served three courses at every sitting! Traditional Peruvian food but every dish was delicious! The guides were a highlight for us. Each one of them was so knowledgeable and they couldn't do enough for us. Alan, Jorge, Ivan and Danilo were fantastic. On the last day, Daniel took us all the way back to the bus station. I realised I'd left my phone in a restaurant and he even took me all the way back to get it, calling ahead to try to make sure it was safe. Because of Danilo, I got it back and I'm so grateful!! Thank you! On this trip we saw a huge variation of animals and insects including howler monkeys, dusky titi monkeys, squirrel Monkeys, yellow Belly piranas, macaws, tucans, caimans, capybaras, bullet ants, tarantulas, leaf cutter ants, capuchin monkeys (which we fed by hand), three striped frog, lizards and more. Activities included, visit to a clay lick, a 50 myr tower overlooking the rainforest tree tops, jungle walks (day and night), boat trips, caiman searching, pirana fishing, kayaking, monkey island, native family visit and other possible activities depending on the weather and season. We 100% recommend this trip to gain a deeper understanding of the rainforest!
Dear Lauren, Thank you very much for your comment!!! We are happy to know that the tour (Tambopata Puerto-Maldonado) was to your complete liking. We will continue to improve with the best organization of the tour, for the satisfaction of our passengers. With Kind regards,

Thanks a lot Hilds and the whole Machu Picchu Travel World team for such an impeccable tour and Amazon experience. Every staff were very friendly and accommodaring. The food was great. A good value for money.
This was second to none. We visited Tambopata and also wanted to do Manu. Hilda from the company explained everything in detail and it was very nice to get such a detailed explanation. The price was also reasonable so we decided to do Manu too. The tour was nicely organised and guide was incredible. Got an insightinto the life of locals and the animals and birds too. I can totally reccomend the tour and this company as well.
A perfect 4 day tour with Machu Picchu travel world to the Manu Rainforest region in the Peruvian Amazon. Everything was spectacular with perfection. The guide Cesar was impeccabloe and explained every bit in utmost detail. I throughly enjoyed the tour and i do reccomend this.
By far this was the best trip we had in Peru. We visited the Amazon Jungle and had a first hand experience with locals there. The guide and the community shared many thought provoking facts and stories. We saw many animals and plants and trees. A good value for the money we paid.
