This was one of the coolest experiences of our lives. We came to Kona for our honeymoon and did a couple excursions with this company and we could not say enough good things. This was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. Captain Dave and CJ were absolutely fantastic and explained everything in great detail answered questions and may be experience even better. Highly suggest this to anyone visiting the big island!!!! Kevin/Erica
Top 10 life experience! The crew, Noel and Erika, were fun, professional, knowledgeable, friendly and kept us safe while making sure it was a memorable experience. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for an experience you will never forget!
Had the most amazing time with Manta Adventures! It was a quick trip out to the bay, with some snorkeling to see the reef at sunset before the light faded. The tour guides were very instructive, professional, but also so funny! It wasn't a large tour group, so it didn't feel overcrowded at all. We could tell that the crew had a deep respect for the animals. Was a truly magical experience that I would recommend for anyone! Even if you are not a strong swimmer, the guides were there to help you in the water, or you could also watch from the boat where they had refreshments and some light fruit. If you have the opportunity, please do this in Kona!!
Unbelievably awesome. The captain and CJ did an outstanding job. Great boat and the experience was breathtaking. The. It’s was very comfortable and they provided wet suits and snorkels. CJ’s knowledge of mantas was impressive. We learned as well as experienced so much of these magnificent creatures.

This was an absolutely awesome excursion. CJ Karen and Corey were amazing and made the trip. Their knowledge, care and humor made it all the better. One thing I want to mention about this company is they do have sturdier ladders, one member of our party was over the normal limit of 285. The ship was clean comfortable and everything was well thought out and organized. We saw a massive amount of manta rays! You also get two separate snorkels with this Co. versus just one with most others. Best value of all. Highly recommend
I can not express enough how special and memorable this experience is! From beginning to end, Manta Adventures takes great care of their customers. Karen and CJ were exceptional crew who knew how to keep a safety briefing interesting while still being informative! Shoutout to Captain Corey for getting us to and from the manta site safely. Aside from the company itself being amazing to work with, the experience is unreal! The wildlife gods were on our side as we saw dolphins, a monk seal, a plethora of reef fish, and MANTAS!!! This is a must do family activity while on the Big Island. Words don’t begin to describe how fascinating these creatures are. Check it out for yourself!
The ride out was beautiful, the crew were wonderful and fun. I picked this one because it offered a longer timeframe for almost the same price as some that said it was half the time. We got there earlier and had time to swim around and check out the reef before the manta rays arrived. It was totally worth the price. The experience was amazing. The whole thing was beautiful and manta rays were graceful and cool. Even the recommendation from the crew for a late night dinner was great!
