Horrible experience. Tried to find the driver at Midtown bus station, NYC. He screamed at me over the phone because I couldn’t figure out which corner he was standing at out of four corners in bumper-to-bumper traffic in the pouring rain. Would not give me any landmarks, telling me what buildings he was parked next to, although I asked. Extremely difficult to understand, difficult to communicate with; I finally found him with the help of a kind bystander, and he proceeded to pick up two others in the same terrible mood. I directed a full email with details of the whole experience to the Go Airlink NYC Call Center manager, Tamara Vukovic, but I never heard back after my complaint. I would happily pay triple for a taxi next time.
Took 3 hours to get to the airport, should have been just over an hr. Traffic was very bad which isnt the providers fault but they failed to account for a lot of known road closures when doing the other pickups. Driver was frustrated and rude. Put us under a lot of pressure. Would not use again.
Traffic in and around NYC and to/from the JFK airport is horrible - lots of it. Allow extra time to travel - google indicated 45minutes-hour. I allowed an hour and it took one and a half hours.
The driver was on time and got us there in plenty of time for flight. Actually were there with over three hours to flight time.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with others.
My driver was not very friendly and dropped us off at the arrival entrance and not the departure so it took me a while to find out where to go
He definitely knew his backstreets to avoid heavy traffic, but drove in the opposite lane. Also, it was very very hot in the van. The air must not have worked well.
I would strongly discourage anyone from booking with Go Airlink Shuttle based on my experience. I was scheduled for a 6:30 AM pickup on July 13 for my shared shuttle transfer from Manhattan to JFK. My flight wasn't departing until 11:00 AM, so I had planned my morning around the scheduled pickup time. Instead, the driver texted me at 6:09 AM saying he was outside and expected me to come out immediately. I was confused because my confirmed pickup time was 6:30 AM, not 6:09 AM. Passengers should not be pressured to be ready more than 20 minutes before their scheduled pickup. What followed was even more concerning. The driver sped aggressively through city streets, weaving through traffic and driving in a manner that felt extremely unsafe. On multiple occasions, he came dangerously close to hitting pedestrians. The ride was so reckless that the GPS/navigation system repeatedly issued audible warnings telling him to slow down because he was exceeding the speed limit. I've never been in a shuttle where the navigation system itself had to warn the driver about his speed. This wasn't just an uncomfortable ride—it was a serious safety issue. As paying passengers, we expect to arrive at the airport safely, not feel like we're risking our lives to get there a several hours sooner. There is absolutely no excuse for this level of reckless and aggressive driving. This was, without question, the worst airport shuttle experience I have ever had. I will never use Go Airlink Shuttle again, and I cannot recommend this company to anyone who values their safety.
On time, friendly driver and good driver
I was waiting for an hour regarding the pickup accusation without anyone contacting me to inform me of the delay
Reliable. Let me know right when he arrived. Comfortable ride. Got me right to the airport terminal I needed & with plenty of time. Great & affordable service.
