Mangroves and Manatees - Guided Kayak Eco Tour
Description
Our tours are geared towards first time and new paddlers. We go at your speed so you don't have to worry about going out and getting exhausted. Grab a friend and come along for a unique adventure on the #1-rated Eco-Tour through the mangrove ecosystem. Choose your kayak - single or double - and glide in our shallow clear water over sponges, grass beds, and sandy patches. Looking down, you might see a small nurse shark, turtle, or stingray, or can observe dolphins and manatees. Above water, herons, pelicans, and ospreys settle on the mangroves and hunt for fish. While there are no guaranteed wildlife sightings, we always see something cool in this one-of-a-kind estuary ecosystem that starts right outside the back door of our shop.

Kayaking in Key Largo was a great experience. We went specifically hoping to spot manatees, but unfortunately we didn’t see any during our trip. That said, the guides were friendly, safety-focused, and explained what to look for and why conditions can affect sightings. The paddle itself was beautiful—quiet water, great scenery, and a relaxing way to spend time out on the bay. Even without manatees, it felt like a fun, worthwhile outing. We did see some dolphins at the end of our trip.

This was a great kayak tour. We got lucky and saw manatees! Jack was amazing and we loved every minute of it.

Annual kayaking tour! We love this experience, every year we’ve seen something new. Our tour guide, Matt, was great and has jokes, he was great. Can’t wait until next year!

This was an excellent two hour tour. Matt was an excellent guide, personable, knowledgeable, and even a bit funny. My wife and I chose SUPs and we very much enjoyed ourselves. We didn't see any wildlife and we didn't go into the mangrove tunnels because of the mosquitoes. Nonetheless with a terrific way to spend the morning! And all the rest of the staff at Paddle were lovel! 5 stars!
