Hopped off, but never got to hop back on!
Being a first-time visitor to the Manchester area we thought it would be best to take advantage of a hop-on hop-off bus tour. While the boarding was seamless we were quite disappointed when the bus never returned to pick us up after touring the War Museum. After waiting approximately an hour we were forced to make other arrangements.

Peter the Great!
Driver named Peter was lovely - very knowledgeable and friendly, made sure everyone knew what time he would be back, and made sure everyone was happy. Great guy. Tour was good too, despite growing up in Salford, I still learned new things from this tour.

Manchester Open Top Bus Tour
We really enjoyed the Manchester Open Top Experience. We have down rated value for money as we booked on the Get your Guide at £60 but on the bus it was cheaper and for Senior Citizens it was only £8pp. The Tour was really insightful and we learnt alot as well as enjoyed the sites. We sat on the top deck but sit closer to the covered area as there are no speakers in the rear so the further back you sit the less you will hear. Definitely worth doing to get an overview of Manchester and places to visit.

Misleading & Overpriced; Does Not Follow Posted Schedules
Visitors should be very aware that this is not a "hop on/hop off" bus and also know that the bus operators will not adhere to the published last schedule stops/times of the day. We had planned to get off one of the stops to explore and catch the last bus pick-up time, PER ADVERTISED. The bus driver said that this was their last stop of that location for the day; they would not be back returning to that spot! We were forced to get off and pay additional funds for an Uber rideshare later that afternoon. Very disappointed. Additionally, the pre-recorded audio was very hard to hear.
