I want to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Santosh and his dedicated crew—specifically Mr. Dawa, Mr. Bisal, Mr. Vivek, and Mr. Bidal. Their level of hospitality is world-class; they looked after everything from keeping our water bottles full and serving our meals to taking over our heavy packs when we were exhausted. They even provided physical support, offering a steady hand on the most precarious, slippery descents. Our trek through the Langtang Valley culminated at Kyangjin Ri, reaching an elevation of 4,400m. At that height, safety is paramount, and it was clear that these guides are highly skilled professionals. They possess the expertise to monitor your health and make quick, decisive calls if altitude sickness becomes a risk. Beyond their technical skills, they remained hyper-vigilant during our final ascent to ensure no one was in danger, always ready to step in if someone lost their footing.
