East end experience
This was not a guided tour and is falsely advertised. You are paying for a driver and that is it. You are taken to the grand Bahama sign for a photo. Then you go to lacayan national Park and walk through the caves on your own. Then you go across the street to gold rock beach. You are then driven to Banana Bay restaurant and the last stop is lacayan market place. I do not recommend booking this at all. Just pay for a Taxi to take you to Banana Bay for the day. It is a local restaurant on a beautiful beach. You can have bahemian cuisine/cheap drinks. They have chairs and umbrellas to relax and enjoy the view. This is where I would go if I am back at Freeport. Do not visit the lacayan market place. The vendors are rude and prices are not marked. If you try to negotiate they will not budge and try to overcharge you.

I am sorry you had that experience. I will look into this and see exactly what happened.

Wonderful Day in Freeport!
Two of us booked the small group tour which had a limit of 10 people. When we got off the ship, Charlie was waiting right outside the cruise port gate. We were the only booking so ended up with a private tour! Charlie was friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. We visited Lucaya National Park, the caves, the pristine fine sand beaches, the Conch graveyard, a wonderful spot for lunch where we enjoyed fresh conch fritters, conch chowder, mahi sandwiches and ice cold beers. We ended at a small market where I was able to locate a conch shell on silver to hang on my necklace. A wonderful day. Highly recommend!

Amazing tour overall. The guide was a true local and knew everything about the island and the park. Beaches were stunning too and we beat the cruise crowds.

Disappointing
It was kind of boring. The beach was nothing special, seeing the cave was disappointing. Tour guide was more of a driver than a guide.

Awesome experience for group travelling with elementary age through teenagers!
Our Mamma Gal experience was great! Our group of 16 truly enjoyed seeing parts of the island that were not full of other tourists! You can tell that Charlie is proud of his island and loves sharing his experiences with you. We booked directly through the Mamma Gal website (cheaper than Viatior or Trip Advisor). Not gonna lie - their website and payment options seemed a little suspicious, but Charlie was waiting for us once we got off the cruise boat just as the emails had promised! This was much better than any other excursion offered by the cruiselines. When you see Charlie - make sure you ask him why they named the company "Momma Gal" - his answer was evident throughout the trip!

Great Tour of the East End, Grand Bahama Island
My friends and I had a fantastic time on the East End Native Experience. Our guide Charlie took us to beautiful spots while telling us the history. We really enjoyed our tour. Charlie also went out of his way to pick up some conch shells for us (thanks for the cleaning help). Later we mentioned we wanted some conch salad, and Charlie took us to a local stand. Thank you so much!
