Description
We start the Tour Mallorca by train, tram and boat leaving from Palma.
After crossing the valley of Lluc by bus, we arrive at the spectacular Sa Calobra Beach and the Torrent of Pareis, where we will enjoy free time for lunch or sunbathe. Then, we will embark on the boat towards the Soller Harbour (in case of bad weather, this part will be done by coach through Puig Major).
The journey back to Palma will be done with the vintage Tram from Port of Soller to Soller city and with the vintage Train from Soller city to Palma city. This itinerary can change, depending on travel conditions.
Lunch is not included in the price. You can ask for picnic at your hotel or have lunch in one of the restaurants in the Sa Calobra beach area.

In Sa Calobra, we will embark on a cruise to the Port of Sóller, sailing along the north coast of the island and observing the maritime cornice of the Sierra de Tramuntana (listed as a World Heritage Site) that offers spectacular views of nature in state pure.
In Sa Calobra we stop for about 1h30 for lunch break (not included), bathing or to visit the Torrent.
Torrent de Pareis

This emblematic torrent crosses the mountains of the Serra de Tramuntana and flows into the Mediterranean Sea. It is one of the favourite tourist locations for its beautiful scenery and for its natural habitat to many different animals. Back in 2003, Pareis was declared a natural monument.
Soller

This beautiful natural port is separated from Mallorca by the mountains of Tramuntana. A little treasure coveted from the corsairs offers us mixed perfumes of orange blossom, irreplaceable scenery and a rich maritime history. The old-fashioned wooden tram connects the Port and the Town of Soller, also known as the commercial and cultural centre on the Serra de Tramuntana. The mythical steam train has been running since 1912, running the route between Palma and Soller. It’s small rails, it’s artisan touch and antique feel all contribute to its splendour, whilst chugging along the natural path of the Serra de Alfabia.

we will start the return route with the classic train from Sóller to Palma. Its wooden wagons, pampered with care, take us with their soft rattle back in time to 1912 when it was inaugurated. The train is characterized by being a narrow gauge railway, rare today and by presenting a very varied old rolling stock, of a detailed character and artisan maintenance.

soller day trip
long day, too much time spent at harbour two hours waiting for boat trip, only 20 mins in soller harbour no time in soller old town, very dissappointed as tourvstated time at soller old town before going on train. less time at begining and more time needed at soller. day was draining and tiring.

Viator trips are overcrowded
It is very crowded Sept
Buses are full and no space in tram
People are pushing and shoving to get into tram and people have to stand touching each other .
Not organized well . The guide is not helpful much

Nice day out with beautiful scenery..
We booked through Tripadvisor and the company they used was Lemon Tours.
They gave perfect instructions for the pick up point and time of pick up using google maps. So everything was easy.
Our guide on the tour was Vivian as she was exceptionally talented and knowledgeable and fluent in 5 languages (I think)
The bus took us to the West of the island (Soller) where we went through vast mountain scapes with a very talented driver. How they traverse them small roads in a big coach is commendable. After and hour or so mooching around the shops/beach we boarded a boat that took us up the coast where we boarded a tram which then took us to the train.
It was a beautiful day out with beautiful scenery. It was a nice day out to see parts of the island you wouldn’t normally see.

Day in Mallorca

Refund
We were told this was an 8 hour tour, we had to separate from our guide and didn’t get to do the train, we had to be on a ship. We had to Uber back. 60E. Vivian told us we wouldn’t be back u til 7pm and we were told 520pm for the tour. Very overwhelming tour, Vivian gave all the instructions over and over instead of giving one step at a time. Never really told us what we were seeing. I am requesting a refund for the train portion and the taxi refund. I lived the boat trip and tram and bus if we would have had a different guide that didn’t overwhelm everyone the whole ride there. I would advice giving a written paper with instructions on how to get around but talk leisurely about the places we are seeing , to much time wasted for restroom.

Full packed day
A must do full day excursion that covers history and culture of island. Traveling on train and tram were simple in organized tour. The bus driver masterfully negotiated the curves on the roads that I would not want to drive in hire car. Will recommend to friends.

Enjoyable
Vivian was a great tour guide. Sante was the best bus driver. Over all it was a great day.
The bus is a long drive with over 150 bends any one that gets motion sickness take a tablet for it. It’s also a long drive your on the bus for over an hour.
Bring swim gear and towel as swimming in the first stop is an option and your their for a while.
The boat ,tram and train were all great.
Bring snacks and have drinks there’s some time between transport to chill.
It was definitely value for money.
The atmosphere was happy and upbeat people had a good time.
Plenty of people around but the tour itself self wasn’t overcrowded. The views were amazing and plenty of stops to take photos and make memories.

Spectacular.
Excellent experience, I never would have imagined the Serra de Tramuntana. The guide was super cordial and explained everything to us in detail, the stop on the way to Sa Calobra was impeccable. The stop at the Torrent de Pareis was unbeatable. Traveling by tram and then by train is a unique experience.

Superb excursion
