Magnetic Island Discovery Tour with Snorkeling & Paddle Boarding

Everything was amazing! The guides are extremely knowledgeable and made sure we had an enjoyable experience despite the windy weather. I was hoping to see a whale but with the bad weather we had to stay close to the Island so it was awesome when a whale and her calf swam directly passed us. I'll definitely be back for another tour.

The crew was absolutely exceptional. So kind and welcoming. One crew had a large float to have the kids on so we could snorkel. They interacted with the kids and looked for interesting stuff to show them too. 10/10 experience , would highly recommend. Got some beautiful drone photos at the end also.

We had a great half day out with Aquascene! The facilities were great, the boat and equipment made the water and experiences so easy to access for myself and 2 children (1 with mobility issues). But most of all we appreciated the crew on board. They were helpful, friendly, funny and professional. They gave us just enough information about the island as we travelled around and unlike other tours they adapted our experience on the day to suit the conditions e.g finding the best spots for snorkelling. It was a short trip around the island, with some whales spotted. This made all the difference compared to other reef experiences where travel times can be rough and lengthy.

Captain Jack spotted some whales so we diverted and watched and listened for a good while. All on board were very happy to forego a bit of snorkelling time for this extra special experience. 10/10

It was a great experience! Snorkeling was a lot of fun. It was especially nice that we spontaneously drove further out to watch whales. Unlike stated on Tripadvisor (max. 19 people), the group was significantly larger than expected with over 30 people. Nonetheless, a wonderful day!

We had a very nice tour, with some facts about the island and (water)life. More than enough time for snorkeling, and even whale watching! Had one delicious lunch/snack. Recommended!

Brilliant way to spend half a day on the island. Adam and his crew adjust their itinerary to the conditions and so you’ll not be disappointed whatever the season. We followed some whales, found great snorkeling spots, frolicked in a stunning quiet bay, enjoyed morning tea, and appreciated high quality snorkeling gear and wetsuits. Down to earth, informative, and quietly also focussed on safety. The granite magnificence of Yunbunen / Magnetic Island is on full display on this tour. Well worth it.

Bright friendly knowledgeable professional staff. Extremely well organised and equipped. Excellent value for money. Tour balanced the interests, expectations and needs of the guests with the day (tides, whales etc). We saw different ecosystems as well as whales including a calf! Great day out suitable for all. Fantastic tour! Super nice and efficient crew. Everything worked out, breakfast on the beach, we saw whales, dolphins, and turtles.

My 17yo son and I had a wonderful experience. We were given lots of information about safety and the plan for the trip as well as all sorts of interesting details about the native island flora and fauna. We were given the best experience possible in the weather and tidal conditions of the day and were also lucky to catch whale and dolphin sightings. I was very happy to go on an excursion where my ticket price goes both into the local economy and supports the health of the marine ecosystem. The skipper and his crew clearly love Maggie and treat it with care and respect.
