From there, your Jeep climbs through an ancient “royal path”— a historic, partially abandoned mountain road once used by locals before modern tunnels were built. As you ascend, the terrain transforms dramatically, offering panoramic vistas and glimpses of Madeira’s beauty. On clear days, you may even find yourself above the clouds, surrounded by misty peaks and endless horizons.

The Giant Swing & Zipline are not included in the tour price, and must be booked in advance on Adrenaline Xtreme’s website. (Time slots between: 11:20-13:30 work best with the tour itinerary). This stop brings you to the highlight of the day — Madeira’s ultimate adrenaline zone. Here, you’ll have the chance to choose between two thrilling experiences: • The Zipline, where you’ll soar across a deep valley at high speeds, taking in incredible views from the air. • The Giant Swing, suspended off a cliff edge, offering an exhilarating free-fall sensation and unmatched views of the mountains and sea. Feel the rush as you fly down a zipline from 320 meters high, reaching speeds of up to 110km/h — one of the highest in Europe. Or, swing out over the cliffs on a giant swing, 20 meters in the air with a breathtaking 250 meter drop below you. After the excitement, the adventure slows down with a scenic pause at the Seixal black sand beach the perfect spot to breathe in the fresh air, capture photos, and reflect on the journey before descending back toward Funchal.
