Your day begins with a 4:00 am pickup from your hotel by our private transport, heading straight to the Ollantaytambo train station.
Here, you'll board the 6:10 am Vistadome Observatory Train
After a journey of 1 hour and 45 minutes, you'll arrive at Aguas Calientes town
The train ride takes approximately 1 and 45 minutes, passing through beautiful landscapes of the high Andes and the Cloud Forest. Upon arrival at the final train station, your tour guide will meet you and take you to the bus station for a 30-minute ride to Machu Picchu.
You will arrive at the main gate of Machu Picchu around 10:00 am. Please bring your entry tickets and original passports to present at the gate before exploring Machu Picchu with your Peru Hikers expert guide.
Your tour guide will show you the most important buildings, including the viewpoints, guard house, terraces, temples, palaces, and more.
A two-hour guided tour awaits, filled with historical insights and ample opportunities for capturing the iconic beauty of this ancient wonder.
Following the tour, a bus ride takes you to Aguas Calientes. You'll then catch a train back to Ollantaytambo
Our driver will be ready to take you back to Cusco.
Your adventure concludes with a drop-off at meeting point.

An incredible experience from start to finish! The tour was awesome and our guide Isao was excellent. He explained everything super well, with a lot of knowledge and always making sure we enjoyed every moment. In addition, he took spectacular photos and videos of us during the whole tour, which made the experience even more special. His dedication, patience, and good energy were noticeable. Everything was very well organized and it really exceeded our expectations. 100% recommended!

Isao provided us with an unforgettable and wonderful experience by guiding us through the city of Machu Picchu and the archaeological site. He explained the Inca history, as well as the subsequent discoveries. He also helped us get lunch and made sure we took the train back to Ollantaytambo. Furthermore, I want to highlight how well Peru Hikers organized the entire experience: from when the driver, Alex, picked us up and took us back to our hotel in Cusco from the Ollantaytambo train station — in addition to managing all the necessary tickets — to the assignment of our guide, Isao. An experience that we will never forget!

Had a great experience. Machu Pichu was an amazing place and I would recommend this trip to anyone. My tour guide Isao with Peru Hikers made the experience so much better with his knowledge and personable approach. Best tour I've been on.

It was a great experience. Our tour guide Isao at Matchu Pitchu was knowledgeable and patient. You did not feel rushed ever an he answered every question. Our driver who picked us up at the hotel and train was lovely as well. It is a long way to go and exhausting but still worth it.

This is an excellent tour. There is a lot of transportation involved but it is clearly communicated and there are people there to help if needed. Our tour guide Isao was exceptional for the Machu Picchu portion of the day. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. He is also a fun and creative photographer who takes pics for you on your own phone. We love the pictures he took and will have them as keepsakes. Thanks so much for a memorable day Isao!

It was a long day but the experience was wonderful. Machu Picchu is one of those places that pictures never do justice. Our tour guide did a wonderful job of answering out many questions but not importantly he geared our pace that was suitable for our 70 year average age.
