I bought my tickets to Machu Picchu 3 months in advance for circuit 2, I even contacted Viator to make sure i got circuit 2. 30 days before the trip they contacted me and said that they could only give me circuit 1. I was disappointed and upset. Our guide Edwin was so friendly and full of information. He picked us up at the train station on time, road with us on the bus to Machu Picchu and even helped me walk the slippery steps. He made the trip worth it.
William was an excellent guide at Machu Picchu. His explanations were detailed and engaging, helping us better understand the history and significance of the site. He was also very communicative and organized when it came to logistics, both the day before our visit and throughout the day itself. The team arranged our Machu Picchu entrance tickets on our behalf (they were sold out on the official site), which made the planning process much easier. Everything was clearly explained, and the entire experience felt seamless. We spent more than three hours exploring Machu Picchu with William. The atmosphere was truly next level, both awe-inspiring and deeply spiritual. While the site was certainly busy, it never felt overwhelming and remained very manageable throughout our visit. We really enjoyed our time with William and would happily recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and reliable guide at Machu Picchu.
Given that the evaluation is the acquisition of the official ticket, it was a disappointment. I paid expensive, more than 3 months in advance for Circuit 2. After charging a few times for the ticket, I am informed q would only have the circuit 1. I was warned so early, the option was to accept, not to lose the trains and the accommodation already booked. The location is amazing, the guide outsourced on Circuit 1 was great. But I could have bought at the same time and with the same service for circuit 1 much cheaper.
I booked this tour because the company confirmed that I would have access to Circuit 2 at Machu Picchu. A few days before my visit, I was informed that Circuit 2 was no longer available and that only Circuit 3 could be guaranteed. This was very disappointing because Circuit 2 was the main reason I chose this company and paid a higher price than other options. Communication about the changes was not clear from the beginning, and I wish I had been informed earlier so I could have made a different decision.
When I made the purchase was written circuit 2. Then I realized it wasn't exactly that circuit I had bought. The agency got circuit 3, which is also good. I received the ticket only 2 days before, with the time of entry, which made it difficult to organize the return to Machu pichu, having lost time of the trip, which could have been used to do other tours. The guide is the staff who took us from the train station to the bus were very attentive.
We bought the tickets months in advance for circuit 2 which is the largest contested, a day before changed to 1 without notice, and without asking if we would like. We bought the part of the bus ticket because it is quite confused the company voucher, then they said that they would refund, did not, do not respond and do not return, bad service!
This was an awful experience for us. I booked Circuit 2 tickets with a private guide back on 4/5/26 to visit Machu Picchu on 7/27/26 @ 8am. We received emails confirming we had tickets to Circuit 2. Then I got an email from the tour guide on 7/23/26 @ 9:09pm confirming us for Circuit 1. The guide stated that the Ministry of Culture is responsible for issuing the official tickets. When I finally received my tickets on 7/25/26 @ 8:27pm, I could see that the tickets for Machu Picchu weren't even purchase until 5/8/26 @ 7:24pm and of course Circuit 2 was sold out then. I was never notified that they changed my Circuit until 3 days before our visit, when it was too late to change anything because all tickets to all Circuits were sold out. We were also supposed to have a private guide, but our guide had 2 other people join our group. My daughter and I were very upset that we had to do Circuit 1 and did not get to walk around Circuit 2. The whole thing was very sad because we were led to believe for months that we had tickets to Circuit 2 due to the confirmation emails we had received, only to find out days before our visit that we couldn't see what we had booked and paid for months ago.
I feel absolutely scammed!!! I bought a package to enter Machu Picchu on 7/27 at 8:00 AM with a guide and transfer bus from Aguas Calientes included. It was managed by the company Haku Travel which turned out to be an absolute fraud!!! After much insistence on my part they sent me an entry ticket for 6:00 AM (the agreed time was 8:00 AM) which they just bought that same day at 3:00 AM, knowing that it was impossible for us to arrive at that time!!! I called them several times by phone and they never answered me! As a result of this we were forced to hire a program again at a higher cost and with all the problems that this entails! I request that what I paid to Haku Travel be refunded since they did not fulfill what was offered and they caused us multiple problems! Furthermore, I suggest removing them as a Tripadvisor provider so they do not continue to harm more people!
They cancelled our ticket not even s day before the Machu Picchu tour, meaning not only did we bot go, the train tickets were non-refundable at that point. Just book your tickets yourself
Haku travel fulfilled everything in Machu Picchu
