You will travel by train to Aguas Calientes, spend the night and have a private guided tour of Machu Picchu the following morning.

Our tour guide Danny was extremely knowledgeable, very pleasant and we enjoyed thoroughly. Terri was the organizer and she was professional, gave us all the relevant information and followed up about the trip arrangements at every step. The only drawback was the accommodation provided at Aguas Calientes which was not good.

Juan was extremely knowledgeable as our guide for my wife and I and was able to fill in the few gaps I had based on my own research of the entire Andean civilizations. I probably enjoyed more just listening to Juan's info flowing from within & conversing with him about my numerous questions rather than staring at the sights!! Fortunately, my wife was taking a plethora of photos for sharing!! Thank you & two thumbs up!!

I couldn't have dreamed of better. An exceptional site, with incredible weather conditions and a wonderful guide. Ruben is a very invested person, always listening, very professional and above all in love with his country which spreads very quickly. I fell in love with these wonderful landscapes thanks to him! Always good advice to have an authentic and unique experience! From the hotel, through the journey, continuing towards the choice of stops upon arriving at the different hikes I have nothing to complain about. It always adapts to you and knows how to slow down or stop when necessary. I recommend it 1000%!
My friend & I spent 4 days with Juan - a Cusco city tour and the surrounding archeological sites, Scared Valley and Machu Picchu. Juan was very knowledgeable, patient, and fun. We had a great time exploring Inca culture and he made sure we were comfortable. His restaurant recommendations were all great and I felt we were in good hands!

Juan was a perfect guide for us. He knew the area and history very well, and he was very accommodating. He never dictated what we did; he just kept us informed of when we needed to be places at any specific time, and he was happy to accompany us to any places we wanted to go while at our destinations. He recommended perfect restaurants who were very welcoming and had delicious foods, and he seemed to know more about Machu Picchu and the area than many of the other guides. Our driver was also excellent, and knew where to park or wait to get us out of places before the crowds. We would definitely recommend Amazing Andean Adventures and Juan for anyone who wants to have the full experience of the area!
