Luxury Causeway Coast Private Tour

We did two separate tours through NI Black Taxi Tour and they were both amazing! We’re so grateful to have found them, the tours were the highlight of our time in Northern Ireland and Belfast! Patrick took us on the private Causeway Coast Tour and went above and beyond. Started off by taking us to our early morning horseback riding reservation then mapped out the itinerary to be able to get the most in from his usual tour. We mentioned we had been looking for a good place for us to dive into the Irish Sea (just to say we did it), and he worked it out for us as well! He took photos for us throughout the whole tour and put together a video for us at the end! So nice we felt like we’d known him for years. Declan took us through the city tour and was so friendly and knowledgeable. If you’re interested in the history of the city, their tour is a must-do! He had tons of insight at all the stops and was happy to answer questions.

Hands down the best tour of our 17 day trip! We had nothing booked for Belfast and decided the night before to book with Belfast Black Taxi Tours based on recommendation from a travel agent we met on our trip. Our guide Gavin went above and beyond to give us exactly the tour we wanted, including a stop at Royal Portrush Golf Club to buy for our avid golfer family. We highly recommend! My husband named Patrick “King of the North” and for great reason! He knew the insides and outs of every location, advised us on how to navigate and make things much easier and more enjoyable than a “normal” tour. He explained thoroughly where to go, where to meet and how to avoid the “tourist- traps,” how to find a toilet without hundreds of people in queue and he knew EVERYONE- and everyone loved him. That’s why my husband named him the “King of the North!” We have been fortunate enough to travel quite a bit together (from the Pacific to the Atlantic and between) and this, by far, has been the best guided tour we have ever taken. Truly, there are not enough wonderful things I can say about the day we had with him. From the start, he gave us history and insights while still making us feel incredibly comfortable to ask questions. He took us on a beautiful ride through the Northern Ireland coast while giving us plenty of time and privacy. The stops we had were stunning, interesting, and interactive because he made them such. We listened intently, took all of his inside advice, and he never made us feel “touristy”. My husband and I prefer being taken to places that are off the beaten path and this trip provided all of that and more!! Worth every penny and we would do it ten times over. If you have any hesitation about booking this trip- don’t. Rest assured, you will be safe and have the time of your life. Do NOT book with anyone else & don’t let this opportunity pass you by. We were able to see so many things with an outstanding guide & could not be more thankful!! It superseded any expectations we had & was by far the best day we have had in Belfast/ Northern Ireland. We spoke about wanting to golf and he made a phone call and scheduled it for us. He tailored our trip to our desires and was truly a blessing, we could not have done it without him! To top it off he went out of his way to show us a local restaurant, market, and things to do for the rest of our stay in Belfast. King of the North!

Patrick is a genuine human who gives a genuine and well valued tour. From our pick up to our drop off his knowledge of the area is immense, he’s very generous with tips and advice on local things we were after outside the tour. Had a fantastic tour of the northern coast leaving from the Belfast cruise port! Patrick did a great job of communicating in advance. Our driver Terry was also fantastic! We were able to see the Dark Hedges. Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, Giant’s Causeway, Ballintoy Harbour, Dunluce Castle, and the Peace Wall murals. Terry provided great insight into the complicated history of Belfast and was very flexible if we needed a pit stop or adjustment to the schedule. Cannot recommend Belfast Black Taxi Tours more!

My kids and I recently had an absolutely incredible experience on the Belfast Black Taxi Tour with Patrick. I found him through a Facebook page, and I'm so grateful! He took us to see Game of Thrones filming sites, the Carrick-a-Rede Bridge, Giant's Causeway, Dunluce Castle, and the Bushmill Irish Whiskey Distillery. Unfortunately, my daughter was not feeling well so she missed the first day entirely. However, when Patrick knew we were planning on being in Belfast again the following day to go to the Belfast Zoo, he kindly offered to pick us up from the station, give us the tour of the city at that time so that my daughter could experience that as well, AND drop us off at the zoo. Not only that, he picked us up from the zoo later and brought us back to the station. To say Patrick went above and beyond is an understatement. I was touched by his sharing of some of his own experiences growing up in the city, and I was grateful that my kids were able to hear about the history. I had seen some of those sites myself 30 years ago, but seeing them again along with the information and personal experiences Patrick shared was something I'll never forget. One last thing to note - little things go a long way! We were given water bottles, snacks, and a shot of Irish Whiskey. I highly recommend this tour, and if you have Patrick as a guide it will be an incredible experience.

We spent a full day with Patrick as a cruise stop at Belfast. He was waiting for us as we disembarked and off we went! We visited many Game of Thrones filming sites including the Dark Hedges and Balintoy Harbor, Giant’s Causeway (an absolute must-see!), had lunch at a pub and popped into a shop in Bushmills, and visited Bushmills Distillery. But Patrick’s tour includes way more than advertised! He knows so many ins and outs of Northern Ireland and lets you see much more. He also shared much of his family history about the area and provides insight into past and even current challenges. It was a great and full day at your own time and leisure. A most excellent private tour in a super comfy touring SUV.

Patrick was our driver and guide for our time at the Port in Belfast. Excellent itinerary that included the Dark Hedges, Carrick a Rede Rope Bridge, the Giant Causeway & Cliff walk, town of Bushmill/market, Bushmill Distillery, Dunluce Castle, Titanic Museum and history of Northern Ireland. He was very attentive and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour company- ask for Patrick and he might give you a shot or two of some Irish whiskey!

Patrick tailored our full day tour exactly to our requirements and it turned out to be a great day from start to finish- despite heavy showers of typically irish rain! 😄 We packed so much into the time , and learned so much about the area and its history. Would highly recommend!
