There couldn't be a better guide than Nancy! She was born to be a tour guide. We spent nearly 6 hours going through the museums but the time flew by. Sure, it was a bit of a whirlwind, but that can't be avoided. We saw as many of the highlights as the constricts of the day allowed. Nancy kept us thoroughly engaged with her commentary and flair (and occasional singing). 150% recommended.
We learned so much with Hugo as our guide in both museums. He is a wealth of knowledge, as an art history major and from a family with a great appreciation of art. Hugo is quite animated and the tours were never boring. He offered other good suggestions as well. A great day!

We had a wonderful experience on our guided tour of the Louvre and Musée d’Orsay. Our guide Daniel was lively, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable, making the history and artwork interesting and easy to understand. We especially appreciated the historical background and context he provided, which really helped us visualize the stories behind the works and better appreciate what we were seeing. The tour was very well organized and covered the major highlights of both museums within the scheduled time. It was a great way to experience two incredible museums, especially for first-time visitors. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend Daniel.

We had a fantastic tour of the Louvre with Julien H! He was incredibly knowledgeable, funny and engaging, and knew exactly what to show us and what details to point out. He gave us the history behind everything in a really interesting way and knew all the best spots to stand for the perfect view. He was also a great photographer and took some amazing photos of us along the way! We got so much more out of the Louvre with Julien than we ever would have on our own. Highly recommend!

The 5 star average is on point. This was a great survey and introduction to the Louvre and its history. Our guide was top-tier - PhD in art history, and a performing singer. She brought tons of knowledge and excitement and was an excellent communicator. Bring a water bottle as there are few (if any) water stops in the museum, and it's quite hot in some of the rooms in the summer crowds. A+ tour with the very clear advantage of skipping all the lines.
