The show is amazing highly recommend and I am a theatre geek with musicals! What let's the show down is the rudeness and unhelpful of the staff , the toilets for the ladies only three in there and none was flushing , when we had a 3 minute bell call a rude staff member said it loudly and like hurry up and decided then to show us other toilets we could of used to actually enjoy the interval break! Instead spent it in a queue in dirty toilets! For me the staff and facilities let it down and for the cost of the tickets it's should be 5 star toilets 5 star staff like elsewhere does that I've currently been to!
What a great show and Venue really enjoyed it, Left me wanting More
The show is truly amazing with brilliant talent. The theatre on the other hand, in the upper half of grand circle, you will be missing quarter of what's happening because the view is restricted (nowhere does it say that when you buy a ticket) so for £57 for the last row ticket you are unfortunately able to enjoy only 3/4 of your view of the stage. And when you quietly and discreetly sit on the steps to see the final pivotal moment at the end, you will be ushered away even though your step sitting bothers noone. Gielgud, either inform people of the restrictions...or make those seats cheaper to make it sting less when you don't get your money's worth.
Great show Simon Lipkin was greatadmison fee was great we went with a acess card crowd was great lenth was fine best for teanagers and audlts
My Top Tips: book direct online at Delfont Mackintosh rather than ATG as you’ll save money. If you want to sit in the Stalls, choose row C or behind, because rows A and B might not see the full stage. When it’s finished, go round the back to the Stage Door as you can meet the cast, take selfies and they’ll sign your program so take a sharpie pen! This was the second time I went to see Oliver here in 4 months and it’s so truly wonderful! The talented cast are sensational, the musicians are incredible, the set and costumes are stunning. The show is fantastic, a world class production. The theatre is beautiful and clean with friendly staff. I highly recommend going and I’m already planning to see it again!
Thoroughly enjoyable show. As an amateur musician I feel the orchestra tend to get ignored in reviews so I want to say that they were fantastic. Lovely to see the conductor and hear the wonderful score played perfectly. Very pleasant vibe in theatre and standing ovation at the end. A great production!
WOW WOW WOW!! The actors in Oliver! were SENSATIONAL to say the least. Absolutely splendid performance from all (the audience went from booing due to a near 40 min technical issue delay to a standing ovation!👏🏻). The actor playing Oliver did it passionately and was a perfect casting with powerful vocals, the actor playing Dodger was the exact replica of how he’s depicted in the books, also performing with great passion and charm, the actor playing Fagin was HILARIOUS, and the jokes were PERFECTLY integrated into the script 🙌🏻, and the actress playing Nancy was so so brilliant and I got quite emotional during her solos, her performance was INCREDIBLE!!!!! Her vocals were INSANE!!! 🙂↕️🙌🏻 Credit to ALL the actors involved, the audience loved you all! The energy in that theatre was something I’ve never experienced before and I was whooping like crazy at the end because of the talent displayed during that show (14th July 7pm show)! I’d absolutely recommend (and will be) to anyone and everyone (I would without a doubt watch again with even a 1 hour technical delay for such a quality performance)!! What a pleasure. 😇
Absolutely fantastic great show great actors was well chuffed we went
A truly amazing experience. Paid to upgrade seat to row J stalls, and had a fabulous view. I laughed, I cried, I cheered. It was so funny in places, slightly risqué sometimes and sad too. The cast are out of this world. Especially, Fagin, Nancy, Mr Bumble and Mrs B, and all at the Sowerberry’s. Bill was scary, as he should be. Everyone else was marvellous too, including of course the saintly Oliver, naughty Dodger, Mr Brownlow, all Fagin’s gang and rest of the cast. The singing was superbly brilliant. Especially Nancy. Fagin was wildly entertaining. The production was great. The big numbers were perfect. Standing ovations all round!!! I’m so happy, I think the feeling will last a while! I never normally write reviews!, but I had to write this one.
The show was incredible ten out of 10 the cast were sensational definitely will go again
