An amazing experience leaning about WW2 in London, our guide Paul was full of knowledge and presented in a passionate way with the old bit of humour. My wife and I fully enjoyed it.
Our guide Jeremy was phenomenal. Extremely knowledgeable, personable and entertaining. The war rooms themselves were great but his walking tour before was the highlight.
Nathan was very knowledgeable and clearly has a desire to pass along what he knows about WWII and Churchill. He was very honest about the politics of the day which I appreciated. It was a very well done tour. Great experience and would highly recommend to anyone.
If you are interested in World War II and Winston Churchill, this is the perfect tour for you. Good value for the money and not a huge time commit commitment.
I had already known a lot about Britain's involvement in WWII, but the tour guide Richard was able to tell a personal story about every statue and monument the 10 of us passed, which I would not have known otherwise, and which made the history come alive. Monty had a way of making people instantly dislike him, including Churchill. General Alanbrook was one of the few who would tell Churchill when he was wrong. And the tour guide Richard's father fought, in fact, in the Burma Campaign.
This was a great walking tour. Our tour guide Babs was excellent - knowledgeable, interesting with a great sense of humour which made it fun. I learnt a lot. The Churchill museum is definitely worth a visit. What a guy !! I would highly recommend this tour !
Richard our guide was great - gave interesting and honest takes on both Churchill the man and the times he lived in.
Fun little tour. There was a lot of general WW2 and not so much Churchill. Most of the Churchill information is in the tunnel, which our guide wasn’t with us for.
It was very interesting and informative. Our tour guide Nathan was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. Lastly, the visit to the Churchill War Rooms was definitely the highlight!
Nathan was very knowledgeable about history and politics. We enjoyed learning about the Battle of Britain and of course enjoyed Churchill’s war rooms. However, the tour did not take us to places we would have liked to see. We thought we’d hear more about the impact on the city as we were in London. For example show us places people went during the Blitz and how that impacted their lives. All I know I’ve read in books or seen in documentaries; it would have been good to get more personal accounts and locations where they occurred.
