Highly recommend

We did Jack the Ripper tour and Harry Potter tour both with Kevin. He was very informative and knowledgeable. How he keeps all the information straight is amazing. Highly recommend!

Worth it if you know what you’re doing

There are many of these buses so know which one you paid for and learn the routes/stops. This will save you a lot of time and hassle.

Operator response

Taking a few moments to familiarize yourself with the route, stops, and ticket details beforehand can help you make the most of your day and avoid any unnecessary confusion. Cancelled Tickets and Baking in the Heat at a standstill.

The Hop on Hop off was good, hit all the major spots, but they left us sitting on the bus baking in the sun in 36 degree C heat for over 20 minutes at one stop with no explanation . The Thames river cruise was entertaining and as enjoyable as it could be in 35 degree weather. The London Eye was a total bust. When we arrived for our scheduled time slot we were informed that our tickets had been cancelled. After many minutes with the Lovely people from the London Eye we found out that the third party company we booked our tickets through, still unsure if that is Viator or Big Bus, had cancelled our tickets. They gave us proof that they had refunded the company. We still have yet to see the refund on our credit cards. We were told this has been happening frequently and there was nothing they can do. Tickets were sold out for the remainder of the day. Still hoping for the refund.

Operator response

Hello, Trudie! We are truly sorry to hear about the frustrating experience you had, especially during such a hot day in London. We completely understand how disappointing it must have been to arrive at the London Eye only to find out your tickets were cancelled through no fault of your own. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide. Regarding your London Eye tickets and the pending refund, we want to look into this and resolve it for you as quickly as possible. Please contact us directly. While we are glad that you enjoyed the Thames cruise and found the staff at the location helpful, we sincerely regret the inconvenience caused regarding your tickets and are committed to making things right. We look forward to hearing from you soon. MariaS@BigBusToursCustomerCare

Ticket did not work!

I bought Big Bus + London Eye. None of the ticks worked. After a lot of insistence by the Chat I was issued a new Onibus ticket. The London Eye ticket I had to ask for a refund. On the Onibus, the vehicles are time-consuming (transit) and uncomfortable (warm) apart from rude drivers. Won't do it again

Operator response

Long stops on bus

The bus was not very comfortable and the driver did not interact with us at all. Frequent long stops without explanation. The Eye, however was amazing! I might try a different bus company next time.

Operator response

Hello, Janice! Thank you for your review! We're glad to hear you enjoyed The Eye, but we sincerely apologize for the lack of comfort and the unexplained stops during your bus tour. Guest feedback is crucial to helping us improve. We have shared your remarks with our local management team to address the communication and driver engagement issues directly. We would love the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and deliver a much better journey! MariaS@CustomerCareBigBusTours

Fab day out

We so enjoyed our day trip to London, everything went so smoothly. The bus trip took us to places we wanted to visit. London eye was Amazing!!. We travelled with two very Anxious children and this experience was so easy for us . We are planning to go again October for Halloween 🎃

Operator response

Hello, Nicole! Thank you for sharing your honest thoughts with us. It’s wonderful to know that your time at The Eye was a highlight! At the same time, we are very sorry to hear that the bus tour left a poor impression. An uncomfortable ride, a quiet driver, and unannounced delays are certainly not the standard of service we strive for. We have flagged your feedback with our route management team to ensure our drivers communicate better during unexpected traffic stops. We truly hope to welcome you back on board on your next trip to show you the 5-star experience we’re known for! MariaS@BigBusToursCustomerCare

We bought a big bus...

We bought a big bus experience for 24 hours with an extra 24 hours free, a scheduled London Eye trip, a river cruise and three optional walking tours. Information about each was readily available on the app

Operator response

Too full

We have a great time, but the buses were way too full. They didn’t come often enough. I probably wouldn’t ever do a hop on hop off-with this company anyway I’m not sure how other companies are.

Buy directly from Big Bus London

It is best to buy this tour directly from Big Bus London directly. My Viator tickets were not valid and the nice guy at the big bus stop was able to reissue tickets. If we had gone to a stop that did not have a rep from Big Bus we would not have been able to use the tickets readily. Avoid the hassle and buy direct.

Operator response

Thank you for sharing your experience. We're pleased to hear that our team member at the stop was able to assist and get you on your tour. However, we're concerned to hear that there were issues with your initial booking, as guests should be able to access their tickets without unnecessary complications. We appreciate your feedback and will share it with the relevant team for review. Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience, and we hope you enjoyed the rest of your visit to London. 😊🚌Alex@BigBusTours
