Very nice 45-minute river cruise and an excellent low-cost add-on to the London Eye, as it’s conveniently located just steps away. The cruise goes just past Tower Bridge before turning around. The tour guide was great. Tip: The volume was good, but if you’re hard of hearing, you can clearly see which rows have speakers. Arrive early for the best seat options.
It is a good option to make the cruise tour added to the London Eye tour (giant wheel), but the cruise tour becomes dispensable, since it is a very short journey and the value becomes relatively expensive for it. The cruise guide does a great job, telling the history of the city around the stretch of the river where the cruise passes. The cruise is open, so I can make quite cold throughout the tour depending on the time of year when you go. The London Eye tour is very good, the weather is appropriate, the structure is very good and the view is great.
It was good didn't have much of a wait enough time up there to take in the views and pictures! Good experience!
Both the river cruise and London eye were great. The (teenage) kids really enjoyed both and we would recommend for anyone. You get to see a bunch from the river cruise, and get really great pictures from the London Eye.
The river cruise actually moves quite slow and if you arrive late you will not be able to sit on top with views. The bottom deck is shaded but blocked by windows that barely open so in the heat it is stifling. The London Eye was great as long as you reserve the time slot in advance. It is also air conditioned which was great during the summer heat! Trying to figure out how to reserve time slot for the London Eye was a bit challenging - you have to look at the instructions on the actual ticket. I would personally skip the river cruise and just do the London Eye!
The teams river cruise was awesome and going on the London eye was a great experience. I would recommend this to anyone however, you need to reword how you say they get a London eye ticket. It definitely was on my ticket, but I was concerned and nobody could answer any questions with me making phone calls, and writing emails. Please be more explicit saying it is included in your ticket.
Mitch was our commentator and he was excellent. He explained everything, was very friendly and helpful. We were having a hard time with the vouchers on our phone and he showed us what to do. We told him we were from Boston and then we talked even more.
It was nice. I like guide. It was very hot day, so was nice to be on the river.
Fast and easy and nice experience overall.
The tour is fine, nice sights to see. The Eye has fantastic views. I’m afraid of heights but the slow rotation really helped quell fears/nausea.
