Head through Green Park to Buckingham Palace, watch the world-famous Changing of the Guard ceremony (certain days). Head to Westminster, see Downing Street, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and the Houses of Parliament. Then, head to Westminster Abbey. Since the coronation of William the Conqueror in 1066, all coronations of English and British monarchs have been in Westminster Abbey. Please note: The Changing of the Guard happens Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun only - 10am tour We will not accompany you into the Abbey

Itinerary
After a stroll through lovely Green Park, we reach Buckingham Palace - official home of the King! Your guide will tell stories of British Royal history as you admire this beautiful Palace. On certain days you can watch the world-famous Changing of the Guard ceremony, and your guide will find the perfect viewing spot! Afterward, walk along the Royal Mall.
Reaching this iconic public square, you’ll see Nelson’s Column, the stunning fountains, and famous buildings including The National Gallery.
Continue to Horse Guards Parade, on the edge of stunning St. James Park. We’ll stop to admire its famous arch and iconic clock - a great photo opportunity!
Next, your guide will lead you to nearby Whitehall. This is home to many grand buildings and monuments, as well as Downing Street where British Prime Ministers have lived and worked since 1735!
At Parliament Square, you’ll see the incredible Palace of Westminster (home to the Houses of Parliament) and the iconic Big Ben clock up close, as well as views of the London Eye and Churchill Statue.
Continue to Westminster Abbey - one of London’s most beautiful buildings with over 1000 years of history. This is where British Kings and Queens are crowned! We'll pre-book your entry tickets for after the walking tour, so no need to join the long ticket line! Once inside, explore at your own pace with the help of a free audio guide (available in multiple languages)

One of the best tours I’ve ever done if not the best. Will was amazing and took us around London, was clearly very knowledgeable and kept the pace up in a good way. At the end of the tour, we were given tickets to go into Westminster Abbey, which was beautiful. For anybody coming to London for the first time or anybody that doesn’t know kucn about London, a tour like this will make you appreciate it much more.

The tour was very entertaining and mostly due to the skills of Will our guide. He was informative yet mixed his dialogue with humor, fun facts and his knowledge of the history of Westminster. Despite the crowds he positioned our group to see up close the events of the day.
Our guide was great but my expectations were higher for the depth we’d get at each site. There was a lot of talking from the street vs. immersing in the actual buildings.
It does involve a lot of steps and the weather was definitely a factors in the event. Sunscreen, water and comfortable shoes are a must! Our guide was very good but occasionally one particular participant monopolized her and kept us standing for far too long in one space. I sure he was entertained, but the rest of us were left eye rolling as we waited. Teach your guides to control the presentation. Consequently, we did not make it to all of the promised locations.
The tour was a great intro to London. The guide (Arian) was very knowledgeable about British history and very engaging.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Will! He was knowledgeable, witty and very attentive to the needs of the group! He knew exactly where to stand to get the best views of the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace and paced the 3 hour tour very well! Was a nicely paced tour. We went on a day we got to see the guard changing which was really cool. For a walking tour it wasn’t bad at all. Didn’t have to walk too much and had a break or two during the tour. We got tickets to the Westminster and I would highly recommend going in. It’s beautiful
