Itinerary
Your tour will meet at the 189 Hercules Road (SE17LD). You'll get kitted up with a bike and helmet or tweed flat cap (optional). Secure bag storage is available.
Your ride starts with a loop of Archbishop's Park to get comfortable with your bike and to make any adjustments. The park is a popular spot for Lambeth residents and hosts a Zipwire in the summer months.
Lambeth Palace is home to the Archbishop of Canterbury and located on the south side of the River Thames, across from the Houses of Parliament.
You'll stop on the south side of the River Thames to see one of the best views of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.
Explore the quaint backstreets of Westminster, home to politicians, air raid shelters, and Lawrence of Arabia.
Pass through the ancient grounds of one of London's 'public schools' and find out what Winnie-the-Pooh and Shane Macgowan have in common.
Stand in front of Westminster Abbey, home of Coronations and Royal Weddings. *Note; Westminster Abbey is a paid attraction and we do not have time to enter it on this ride.
Ride around St James's Park, London's most beautiful Royal Park, home to pelicans and glorious flower gardens.
Stand in the middle of Horseguards Parade where military parades take place each year and see the Downing Street garden and impressive Old Admiralty Building. You may also catch part of the Horseguards changeover.
Ride up the Mall to Buckingham Palace home of the Queen. Hear tales of Royal history and gossip from your guide. And catch the best parts of the Changing of the Guard (on certain dates). *the Mall is closed to cars on Sundays making it an extra special cycling experience.
Ride under this pretty arch that marks the boundary of 'Royal London', and find the secret stone nose located underneath.
Trafalgar Square is the home of many iconic monuments, including Nelsons Column and the National Gallery. It's also the technical centre of London.
Visit London's only Italian style piazza, Covent Garden Market, bustling with shops and restaurants.
Stop for a pint of local beer (optional) at the Lamb & Flag pub in Covent Garden. Once know as the 'bucket of blood' due to its connect with bare-knuckle boxing, the pub is older than the USA and a favourite with locals.
Stop by an ancient Egyptian obelisk on the River Thames to also discover the story of London's amazing Victorian sewage system.
Ride past London's iconic ferris wheel, the London Eye. You'll stop briefly at the best place for a photo.
Cross the River Thames using a bike lane over Westminster Bridge. You'll cycle right underneath Big Ben!
Visit the Graffiti Tunnel under Waterloo Station, made famous by Banksy, and see street artists painting amazing murals. This is the only 'legal' graffiti zone in the area. And you'll also get to try graffiti yourself as spray paint is provided in the tour.

Fantastic day!! Katie was a wonderful tour guide, very entertaining. Great stories and she was very cautious for our welfare.
James is a great historian. He is very knowledgeable. The ride was fun. I highly recommend James for a bike tour.
We had a wonderful time riding through London with our guide, Edward! He has a wealth of knowledge and made exploring London by bike such a fun and memorable experience. We saw so much more of the city up close and personal than we ever would have on a bus tour. I highly recommend doing this early in your visit—you’ll see so much more of London while learning fascinating history and stories along the way. Thank you, Edward, for making our visit so enjoyable! We even loved our stop at the oldest pub in London and the Leake Street Tunnel—such a fun little bit of art and creativity!
Was a great way to cruise around London, nice relaxed pace, and heaps of really good info. Edwards knowledge of the history of the area superb. 2 farmers from Western Australia loved it.... Especially the beer in the "Sheep and Flag" and the Banksy graffiti. Thanks Edward
Amazing! Best bike tour ever! For kids and adults!
Katie our tour guide made the experience extraordinary! I have done other bike tours through London, but this was special because we were riding English made bikes with a tour guide dressed in an English costume playing British music and we rode through iconic places in London and learned about some of the history.
We loved Katie our guide we had a fantastic tour of London saw parts of the city new to me after many trips. Most of all our two teenaged boys really enjoyed it as well
Fun way to explore all the major sights of London with our most cheerful and charming guide, James! The route is all flat so very doable for all skill levels. Don't do a boring bus tour--this is way more fun!
Best part of our London trip by far! Nothing bad to say. Bikes comfortable, ride easy with the guide, great spots, amazing pieces of information and told in a story book kind of way, perfect amount of time, and easy going feel.
This tour made for a very fun morning out in London! We saw many of the highlights, learned some new things, and our tour guide James always had us in the right place at the right time to see the changing of the guard, etc.
