It's a lot of walking, but worth it. Both chateaus were amazing! We also learned a lot from Dorien, our tour guide. He was great!

Agate is a delightful person and tour guide. She is very knowledgeable, friendly and pleasant. The chateaus are amazing. Just incredible to go back to the 11th-16th centuries seeing and learning of the changing architectural styles, changing ownership and helping to bring perspective and meaning back to our daily lives and existence.

Had a wonderful day visiting Chambord and Chenonceau Chateaus with Camille, our guide from À la Française tour company. Camille is very professional, knowledgeable, warm, friendly and engaging with our group of 8. Lunch at the small chateau operated by the Countess was delicious and a special experience. We couldn’t have a better, more fantastic experience! As a suggestion, book directly with À la Française instead of a third party tour platform for more efficient, direct communication and to allow more of your fees to go directly to the tour provider.

Excellent full day tour of 2 Chateaus, leaving and returning to Amboise. Our guide, Dorian, was very well versed in the history of the Chateaus, and provided great context during the van rides to more information what we would see and hear. A+ thank you!

It was extremely hot out due to la canicule but our guide Dimitri did a great job telling us about the 2 chateaux while keeping us as cool as possible. The pick up and drive was smooth, he handled all the tickets and gave us a reasonable amount of time to see everything. The set up for each spot was Dimitri sharing some history about each Chateau then we had about an hour to wander. It was a really great trip and I'm very glad we got to go and see both of these! It was nice to not drive.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and able to introduce humor when it was appropriate. Her driving was excellent and allowed us plenty of time to explore the chateaux on our own.

We were picked up by Dimitri . He was friendly, funny and very knowledgable. His visual aids were very helpful. The chateaux were both beautiful as were the gardens. There was a great mix of time with the group and free time. Not too much time on the bus.
