Loch Ness trip was well awesome…even with a hangover!

Ian was fabulous. So knowledgeable and somehow managed to turn his 16 hour day into our most memorable excursion because of how personable and engaging of a guide he is! Thank you very much, highly recommend!

We specifically chose...

We specifically chose this excursion because it was advertised as having a maximum of 8 people in the vehicle. This was not the case. We had 15 people on our tour which meant we moved much slower as a group and took much longer to get on and off the bus. We would not have booked the tour if we had known this ahead of time. We also saw the stellar reviews talking about how engaging the Scottish guides were, but our guide was actually English and was not nearly as engaging as described. Our party of 4 all agreed that this tour was just not worth it.

Worth the hype!

Ian and Isla were incredible tour guides. We were on a 1 day tour of Loch Ness and the highlands from Edinburgh. They ensured that we were comfortable and didn't miss a single detail along the way. The first stop was the Hermitage where we took a brief walk to a waterfall. It was the best way to start the tour. My mom isn't the most confident on her feet, but the trail was gentle and easy for her to navigate. Then we stopped at a distillery for a quick tasting. Onward to Loch Ness which was a crowded but lovely town. We didn't opt for the boat ride which allowed us to take in the town and the views at a more relaxed pace. Then we drove to Glencoe which was WELL WORTH THEY HYPE. Ian and Isla shared some cool stories and kept us on schedule al day. I would recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see a lot in short/limited amount of time.
