We had a exceptional walking tour around Liverpool with Martin. He kept us entertained with his stories about the importance of the city, and we learned a lot about the history.

I took my three grandchildren for a walking tour of Liverpool as a treat before they returned to school. I was really pleased by the tour itself, its itinerary but most of all by the guide, Martin. he was knowledgable, informative, and funny. I've lived near Liverpool for more than 10 years, but Martin showed me areas of Liverpool I had no idea about nor knew about their past. I was pleased that he had a broad focus on the history and people of Liverpool as I was concerned there might be too much about the Beatles. A further shout out to Martin for his patience with me and my grandchildren from the outset as I went to the wrong starting point. Staff at his main office actually answered the phone and contacted Martin to let us know we'd been delayed and make arrangements to meet elsewhere. All in all, a great morning, most appreciated. Thx!

All in all, the tour was really great. At the start, we wondered around for a bit cause we were unsure of the meeting point, but once our guide arrived he was easy to spot. Because no one else signed up we had a lovely little private tour and got around the city pretty easy. The guide gave us some great ideas for our next few days in Liverpool. If you want to know more about the history of Liverpool without too much information about the Beatles this tour might be just right for you.

Martin Ryan was a truly outstanding guide on our walking tour of Liverpool last week. We were fortunate to be the only two booked on. As a result, we had the privilege of Martin's exclusive attention. He has such a sparkling personality with an engaging and infectious enthusiasm for the history of Liverpool. His knowledge was encyclopaedic, and he clearly has an expansive general knowledge too, as we learned from discussing lots of associated topics on the journey around the city. Although this was our fourth visit to Liverpool, Martin taught us so many new things about places with great historical significance, which are often overlooked on a walk around the city. Martin really made our day in Liverpool, and we feel blessed to have enjoyed his company on exploring this magnificent city. We can’t recommend this experience enough! Outstanding!!
