Quick tasting and tour. This is a small grower in Carcavelos, the white wine was great. Wish there was also a red tasting. They also shared their version of “port” which was very good.

Visit Quinta da Corrieira, a small family-run winery located just 10 km from Lisbon city centre, and discover one of Portugal’s rarest wine styles: Carcavelos. During this guided visit, you’ll walk through the vineyards and winery and learn how Carcavelos wine is made — from native grape varieties to the traditional long barrel ageing that gives this historic fortified wine its distinctive character. The experience includes a guided tasting of at least 3 wines, featuring: Local Lisbon table wines and the fortified Carcavelos wines, the specialty of the region. Tours are led by an experienced wine guide or one of the owners themselves. As a small winery welcoming small groups, the experience is personal, relaxed, and informative. Founded in the late 1970s, Quinta da Corrieira is dedicated to preserving the Carcavelos wine tradition. Today, it is run by the Lewerentz family, who moved to Portugal eight years ago to continue this unique winemaking heritage.

The owner is super friendly and guide Petra was sublime. She knows a lot about wine, vineyards en Portugese history of wine. Tasted some very exclusive wines!
Thank you, we are happy you enjoyed it.
This was an amazing experience! If you want a real wine tasting experience with a vineyard I recommend.
Hello Kareem, Thank you so much for your review. we are really glad you enjoyed the wine tasting and the overall experience. Kind regards, Quinta da Corrieira team
An all-round successful event! The hosts are very nice and competent, we felt very comfortable at their winery. The Juntos and Carcavelos are a dream! We love both and can absolutely recommend this wine tasting!
The small winery is a very special one, because here, in the old tradition, the Carcavelos wine is produced, the small but fine Lisbon counterpart to the Port wine. (Since this year there is also the first white wine of its own.) We have been there several times and enjoyed the combination of warm hospitality, very good wines and delicious snacks. Top of the line are their own wines, but on request the winemakers (Katrin and Jörg) are also happy to present wines from other smaller Portuguese producers, a great way to get to know the country and its wines!
